This was several months ago. I didn't know I could review here, but my still being upset about it should tell you something. I had him install an ice maker. It leaked. He said his son would come back to check it at the end of the week. I am still waiting for him to get here.

This fella is rude, disrespectful and a racist. There are far too many plumbers in the area to be treated the way this man treats customers. A perfect example...see how when anyone posts a negative review of him on here he attacks them. He charges over $100.00 to come out and just tell you what the problem is - I understand that is how he makes a living, but there are other plumbers in the area who are not THAT expensive. Maybe he is a master plumber, or has some special degree that he believes enables him to charge $100.00 to tell you that there is a toy stuck down in your toilet, who knows. He is not the only plumber in town folks.....look elsewhere - beware of this man. To sum up....this man is rude, racist and disrespectful

If you are looking for a plumber who is an expert in the industry, quick to respond, detailed in his work, and charges a fair price, call Tim's Proficient Plumbing. After struggling to repair a toilet issue all weekend, I decided to call a plumber to finish the job I started. I called Tim at 8:00 in the morning to schedule a service call and he was on-site within 2 hours of my call. He fixed the issue within an hour and left the bathroom cleaner than how he found it. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, you can bet Tim will be getting a call.

Tim's Proficient Plumbing has completed two jobs for us. The first was a broken main water line right after Hurricane Gustav. Today he replaced my hot water heater. We are very pleased with his reasonable rates and his polite and professional demeanor.

He replumbed some sinks/ bathrooms in my house and got them backwards (hot/cold) I requested on three different occasions to have them changed back. He said he would get to it. Finally after 8 months and 5 calls later I hired another plumber to accomplish this.
