My fiancé and I were apprehensive about starting our son in daycare due to all the horror stories that you hear. It took us some time to find just the right place and that's when we came across DTA. Stephanie was very pleasant on the phone and she took the time to answer any questions we had. She is extremely educated in the field of child development and upon a face-to-face meeting, her natural ability to connect with a child (that day our son) was really displayed. Our son started that next week and has shown drastic improvements with his social skills and talking. She always keeps you updated on the things the kids are working on and her staff is awesome ! I can't say enough about her staff, they are always so great with my son.

This center and their staff are AMAZING!! My kids LOVE going to school here! My oldest rides the bus in the morning and afternoon and enjoys the time he has with friends after school at DTA. My youngest son is learning so much from the staff here and I couldn't be a prouder mom because of all the help I'm getting from the staff here my almost 2 year old will be potty trained in no time!

After moving to the area last summer, I was amazed at the cost/waitlist/class size of many daycares in the area. I "interviewed" several places and was starting to question whether or not I was going to find a place that I felt comfortable taking my girls to everyday. As I was just about to give up my search and resign to not going back to work, I stumbled across DTA... and haven't looked back since. WE LOVE DTA!!!

DTA is an amazing place, all The teachers up there actually care about the kids and love what they do. My son loves all the teachers up there as do I. They take the time out to actually teach the kids what they need to be taught and do lots of fun things with the other kids! My son will continue to go there for after school care. I could not imagine putting him anywhere else!

I personally have grown a bound with the girls up there that they feel like family and I can trust them completely!

They are understaffed. I went in at 730 there was only one teacher in the building with all ages of children the one year old teacher was just arriving to take the children to their class. The preschool teacher left the class unattended to walk a one year old across the hall. She is never keeping her eyes on the children while speaking to parents. When I picked .y son up the director picked him up off the matt out of a heavy sleep stood him up and pushed him off to me. She has no consideration for my child. She is always hyper and seems to have no time to talk. My tour was " this is the class room and this is the playground". I would never recommend this facility to any parent. When my child came home he said the teacher was HITTING kids!

I've had my daughters here for a total of 5 years. My oldest is 7 and my youngest is 4. I had to recently pull them out for personal reasons, and my daughters are driving me crazy to go back. My girls love the staff at DTA. My girls have not complained one time about their time at DTA. The staff would always great me with a smile and would answer any questions I may have.

My 2 year old son had a traumatic experience there. I brought his breakfast because they serve breakfast until 7:30am. He had his water and milk bottle. When I picked him up, both bottles were untouched. He didn’t eat anything in the entire day. Was dehydrated, and shaking. They didn’t show any sign of compassion. I asked if he ate or slept, they looked at each other not knowing what to say. Once we got home, he drank a lot of water and ate a lot. He had nightmares thought the entire night. Woke up hungry and was very stressed out. Next day, he had pink eye and got sick.

I really thought this environment was different, but I was wrong. From the moment I got there in the morning, Heather took him from my arms saying: “I’m going to be the mean lady”. My son started to cry. I was surprised by the way she acted. You don't have to have a psychology degree to know the right way to do the transition. She was not even professional and showed lack of training. I regret taking his there.

This facility has really let themselves go. Understaffed and children for before and after school program are now well provided for or looked after. On many occasions I would go to pick my daughter up and there would be 20 plus kids on the playground with one adult supervising. Their door is NEVER locked so anyone can walk in. On multiple occasions I would check my daughter out and no one would be in the front but several kids would be at the desk unsupervised. A stranger walked right in one of the times when no one was there asking for directions. Imagine if he was a sicko! He could of taken any child hanging around in the front without an adult noticing for hours! My father picked my child up one day and no one even noticed he was there! He had to find someone and introduce himself to let them know he was taking my daughter. This facility puts up a good front like they are well ran when you go in for a tour but they are NOT.

My children have been attending this center for 6 and 4 years. We have had the occasional problem with a fellow attending child but the center has always been quick to let me know. Both of my children attended their VPK programs and they both do very well in Elementary school. I think it is an overall good and safe place.

A wonderful VPK and afterschool program

I have a 4 year old and 7 year old, my 4 yr old is in the VPK program. Love it! In fact better than my sons regular school, he is 7. He goes to DTA Academy daycare for afterschool. This place is organized, CLEAN and that got it together. I would tell anyone to come to DTA Academy

Oh my goodness

I had been in this center for a tour years ago, what a difference ownership now being on site all of the time. I moved my child from another local daycare, this place is now top notch, it is totally up to date with an amazing cirriculum. I'm happy we made the change. We started shopping again when my second child turned one recently. this place is a MUST see

my son in VPK

I enrolled my son in VPK about a month ago. I have never seen such hard working people that truly love what they do. I'm so happy. Ms. Heather is great with my son and my own personal overprotective habits. This place is the best kept secret. It is so clean and up to date

Deltona's best

I visited several centers in Deltona when we moved here last year. My 4 and 2 year old are now 6 and 3 and they love the teachers. I love how clean it is, the value and the fact that it is always organized and I always feels secure when I leave to go to work
