Liz’s ability to connect with patients is unparalleled. I’ve received many different acupuncture treatments from others in the area, but her warm and open heart kept me coming back. I first discovered acupuncture when traditional Western therapies weren’t helping my back pain (4 slipped discs). Due to my traveling I ended up in the care of Liz and by this time I realized there is a whole other world of my being that acupuncture can help with.

I quickly realized that pain my body is feeling isn’t just something my body does, but instead is a defense mechanism for a bigger picture of systemic pain on the body, mind and spirit levels. For me in particular I now know that I was suffering spiritually and emotionally—depression, loneliness, and a loss of community. We worked with those root causes and pain and stress went away in a matter of several treatments. And for those times when I stubbed my toe or didn’t eat enough and gave myself a headache—Liz was there to help me with those acute situations as well.

I really can’t speak more highly of Liz. She is also a skilled Chinese Herbalist. Sure, the herbs tasted weird, but I got over that fast. After taking one cup of my herbs my rib pains went away entirely. All of her attention is focused on me during the hour treatments. This hasn’t been the case with many acupuncturists I’ve been to who place needles in me and leave me alone in a room. Her needling skills are superior and she won’t end the treatment unless I feel whole. I really cannot NOT afford to keep going for my continued health and wellbeing!

I had debilitating back pain for years. Little did I know that an age old treatment would do the trick. Liz helped me get back into balance and my pain has been minimized.
