Having had bad experiences in the past with vision doctors, I can know say I am fully confident in the treatment and prescription plans that I have been given. Dr. Esterman is 100% the best eye doctor in Delray Beach. Highly Recommended!

Provided by YP.comMy first experience at the Esterman Eye Institute was when my wife went to Dr. Esterman for what we thought was minor vision impairment. Upon examination it was discovered that her retina was being pushed forward. Recognizing the severity of this condition, he sent her immediately to a retina specialist whereupon it was determined that the cause was a melanoma, an extremely serious and rare condition. Due to the astute observation of Dr. Esterman she was able to receive the proper protocol and is on the road to recovery.
My own vision was deteriorating and the diagnosis was cataracts, a common phenomenon as a result of aging. I explored the various lens replacement options with Dr. Esterman who recommended a specific set that corrected astigmatism in one of my eyes as well as enabled me to avoid having to wear prescription glasses. Now I marvel at seeing my surroundings the way they actually look. It’s the equivalent of restoring a classic car to better than new condition.
Dr. Esterman is extremely knowledgeable and will spend whatever time is necessary to answer any questions one might have regarding treatment. This also goes for his staff, in particular his assistant Jennifer. It is refreshing in this day and age to find a medical practice that does not rush you out the door but rather addresses all your concerns before you leave the office. Elliott Schwartz

- Bradley J. Esterman, M.D. is Medical Director of the Esterman Eye Institute and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and laser surgery. Dr. Esterman graduated from Johns Hopkins University, where he earned a B.A. in Natural Science. His academic career continued at the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School where he earned both his Masters in Applied Physiology as well as his Medical Degree (M.D.). Dr. Esterman’s postgraduate training included an Internal Medicine internship in New York at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center. He followed up his internship with a residency in ophthalmology in New Jersey at UMDNJ/Cooper Hospital Medical Center. After practicing ophthalmology outside Chicago for two years, he moved to Delray Beach and opened the Esterman Eye Institute in 1996.
