The guys at Heavy Metal are really top-notch. Last year I bought an older bike (1985 Kawasaki ZN-700). Even though old, Joe has stuck with me in debugging this machine until we got it right. One night he stayed an extra 4 hours re-fabricating a gasket that was giving us trouble rather than going through a costly replacement of same. I always take the Kawi here because I know that Joe is always going to work hard to make things right. I definitely trust him to keep an eye on my bike. He is very personable and his pricing for the work is very fair. I would have these guys service my equipment ahead of any shop in DeLand. If you own a bike you owe it to yourself to check them out!

These people claim to take pride in their work and want the best in customer satisfaction. Coming from the owner who also made jokes at my expense, was completely negligent in the work he did for me and on my bike, he didn't care to solve the issue and is an all around terrible business owner. I wouldn't let them fix my pedal bike. Their negligence could've cost me my life and all they did to "change it" was offer me a discount. They've been open for a year and I doubt it will be much longer. Every shop and rider in Deland fl know this because of me and now the rest of the world needs to know so they don't end up in a situation like mine or worse.
