Waited for 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, left the doors open in the exam room and my bird went down the hall, they stressed my poor birdie out. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE! The vet had no idea what he was doing, the whole experience was absolutely awful.

Dr. Backos was amazing!! My parrot was acting very strange when I got home from work which is after midnight...I didn't know what to do and thankfully I called Backos who were able to see my parrot and get her back on her feet at 1am. I am amazed that they actually answered there phone that late.

Dr Backos is known as the house vet for the Bird Club of Broward County. He is the man experts go to when there is a bird in trouble. I had to rush a bird to his clinic on a holiday with a compound fracture. Left overnight as someone suggested, she would have bled to death. A bandage was applied and she was expertly taken care of. Dr Backos was the only chance she had. Now time will tell.
