Wow, after seeing other peoples reviews, I have to agree with most of what's been said.
The work they did on my Belgin Block apron and border was a complete mess. Very sloppy. Called Tyler to come and take a look, but he never showed.
Wish I would have read the reviews before giving them the job.

I would never recommend this company. I would never use them again. They were priced a little less than competitors and now I know why - you get what you pay for. I will share my story on EVERY SINGLE social media and online platform I can so that other people don't have to deal with what we are dealing with after laying out $4,000 to have something done incorrectly.

Very unprofessional company, don’t waste your time calling them , stay away from them, the owner’s son gave us an estimate that the company didn’t accept cuz according to them it was too sheap, so they are no going to keep the price cuz the owner is not going to pay for “ somebody’s mistake” that was that they told us and literal said he doesn’t care a bad review . So here I am with the bad review trying to alarm people about this company . Now I know why this company has so many bad reviews, Belive me and according to our experience are true. Apparently the owner and his company was or is involved in a legal problem, I’m glad this happened at the beginning I don’t want to think the magnitud of the problems if we get further with them .

This is a top-notch company. We received quality care from the customer service representatives and the pavers. Our driveway looks fantastic, and they took great care around the edges so that there isn’t any tar on our Belgian block trim. Great job!

I am going to echo what another reviewer said. Absolutely horrible experience from beginning to the brutal end! I wish I would have read their reviews before I used them. There is a reason they have to bid lower then other companies. You get what you pay for in life!! I should have gotten around to writing this review when they completed my job months ago.

I have a HUGE COMPLAINT!! This company is very un professional and a bunch of liars!! At our home in mastic we had our drive way excavated (which they were so quick to come do) and then they pushed us off so many times and LIED TO US ABOUT BEING ON THE SCHEDULE AND WE WERE NOT ON THE SCHEDULE!! We were told that we were on the schedule the first week in July, then the next week and then the next week. We were told we were on the schedule for a Saturday and we wasted the WHOLE DAY!! and come to find out, we were NOT on the List. We called your Office on Monday July 14th, and they gave me the run around and saying that someone had to be home in order for your company to do the drive way and then we were told that no one had to be home and then we were told that we were on the list for Friday July 18th! LIED TO AGAIN!!!!! We finally got the drive way done Saturday July 19th!! The guy had told my husband that they wanted to put off US and another home in Mastic but since we made a big deal about the drive ways not being done, you guys had to come to us!! You wanted to do a big job at the Smith Haven Mall instead of people who you had already started a job for!! WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS!!! You guys are very un professional and you suck at customer service skills!! I'm reporting you to the BBB and news 12 and any other website!! Thanks for your crappy service!

I have a $4200 contract to do a new driveway on Huntington Station house.
8/20/2014 they started the excavate. Mellissa told me they will be the house 8am, came 12 noon.

8/24/2014 Saturday. install Belgian Block. Called office earlier to ask time frame, Dana said she doesn't know. so waited since 8 am. and they came 1pm.

8/26/2014. Called to ask when will they grade and rolling the driveway. Lisa answered, she told me that I was scheduled for paving on September 3. I asked her, will they do rolling first? then settle for a couple weeks? I told her that I want to talk to Melissa, originally I talked to her and she was on the phone, and she didn't call back. I called 2 hours later, Lisa answered again, she started to yelling me at really loud voice :" I just on the phone with you for 15 minutes, don't you understand? Melissa will call you back". I felt really upset, "why are you yelling at me, I just want to know the schedule" She said that she is very busy.

I told my husband, my husband called the sales person, he told us that Lisa is part time.

This is not acceptable, also not professional, the owner should look into it.
Make the schedule and time frame (about 2 hours) clearly for customer, so I don't have to wait for a half day in a construction site.
also they told my husband that schedule on Thursday 8/28/2014 to rolling and grade the driveway. I don't know the time Yet!!!

Hope everything goes smooth, I can get my driveway done.
Since the bad experience started, I am started to Watching Them...
I learned that Consumer Affair is a right department to make a complaint for your Consumer Rights.
Make sure take photos for evidence to show consumer affair or go to small claim court if they did bad quality job. Complaints form only one page, you can download from link below. Fax, email or by mail, investigators will call you within 1 week, then the owner of the company will response the questions to investigators. You will get your issues solved right there. consumer affair have the right to revoked their licenses if they have a judgement against their company. Then consumers don't have to deal with those untrained customer service rep.

I made an appoiment 10 days before for an estimate and no call no show up, I call the office 45 minutes later and the lady on the phone said she didn't know nothing and would call back, I moved my doctor appoiments that days and for nothing......
A company that can't keep there appoiments tell you a lot about the type of job they do........
Read reviews before spending thousands of dollars on a driveway or patio....

They did my drive way. Left a huge patch in front. Went to court. Promised it done right came back ripped out black top left dirt. Do not return calls. They don't care they take your money and say F you.

Awful experience, from start to finish: contract included promises of brush removal that they wouldn't honor ( "my bad" was the salesman's excuse), paver walkway was incomplete and no effort was made to finish, driveway isn't straight across at the bottom and looks amateurish. The salesman and paving foreman are jackasses; the women in the office are probably rude because of having to field constant complaints about their crappy product and service. Try anyone else instead.

DONT USE ATLAS ASPHALT, the sales person will promise you the world and deliver NOTHING, they do not folow through and will NOT fix their mistakes. This was a the worst choice I could have made, do yourself a favor and DON'T hire them under any circumstances. The woman in the office are rude and don't care to address complaints. I could have done it better myself...what a waste of money.....the job looks like Sh it......

SO HAPPY WITH THE WORK. Came on time, courteous professional. No complaints. Really good job! Blocks came out nice and the sales respresetative was very helpful. Recommended to many. OUTSTANDING.Atlas Asphalt! Ron, the owner, even came to the jobsite to make sure everything went smoothly. They definitely put an emphasis on quality. 6 months later, everything still looks mint!! A rating with the Better Business Beaurau. Trust me, Atlas Asphalt is the right choice.

I had my driveway paved during the summer and it came out really nice. Recently four large bubbles formed in the driveway causing a tripping hazard. I called the company seven times over the last five weeks and no one will return my calls. I paid cash and gave a generous tip to the workers. I even referred a friend to the company. I'm glad he did not use them. I am not normally a big complainer, but I am very dissapointed in the non response to my problem. I'm just asking for the company to fix the problem before someone trips on the bumps and tries to sue me. I am still giving Atlas a chance before I lodge a formal complaint. Next will be occupy Atlas with some nice signs in front of the establishment. Why does the company give a better price when you pay cash??? Humm I wonder. Please respond Atlas you know who I am.

We had our driveway resurfaced 2 1/2 weeks ago. We were told to stay off it for 10-14 days, and we did. After riding on it for the first time we had tire marks on it and everyday since the marks get worse and the asphalt is soft and crumbling. We called the company everyday for three days, morning, noon & night, cell & office. Nobody has returned our calls. When we called for an estimate we received an answer within 5 minutes. To make matters worse we paid cash. We also noticed that many other people have had the same problem.

DO NOT USE ATLAS ASPHALT, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER RETURN TO FIX THEIR SHODDY WORK!!!! I had them put a new driveway and a Belgium block border. They never set the block right and it began to fall apart and it was set to high that my car would barley drive over it. they never finished the seal and the driveway had weeds growing in the middle of it the next day. I found a very thin layer of asphalt and no asphalt in some spots. I called repeatedly and they sent someone out who said it was a bad job and it all had to be ripped out and redone. I spoke with the owner Ron and his father Lou and they still have not returned my calls or fixed the shoddy workmanship. DO NOT USE ATLAS ASPHALT, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER COME BACK!!!

We made a big mistake of hiring Atlas Asphalt. The driveway started falling apart 14 days after it was done. Anything you put on the driveway sinks in and creates a hole. Tire marks with cracks and large bumps. Complained MANY times. No one returns your calls. Took me 3 months to get someone to come out and look at it. I was even told by the OWNER that you shouldn't expect your driveway to last more than 1 year! Really?? Why would I pay all that money to have asphalt put down if it's not supposed to last more than one year? STAY AWAY FROM THEM. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!!!! THEY HAVE AN F RATING WITH THE BBB AND THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE SUFFOLK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS WATCH LIST!!!! (unfortunately I found that out after my botched job) ***DO NOT HIRE****

The girls in the office are rude and to busy to handle complaints. The sales reps promise the world and don't deliver and then when there is a problem the sales reps do not return phone calls. When you call the office the receptionist tells you she will contact the sales rep and have him return my call, but never a return call. The office will not give you any information or names of the owners. There is no customer service in this office. Do NOT use this company.
