SCAM ARTISTS!!!

I was contacted by this company early in the Summer and ordered two gallons of weed killer to see if it worked before agreeing to purchase more. Like everyone else who's reviewed this company (there are many more complaints on the web) I was sent additional product without ever ordering and billed an excessive amount. They called me last month and told me part of my 20 gallon shipment was damaged and they would send the remainder soon. I explained to the salesperson that I never ordered a 20 gallon shipment and that the original 2 gallons he sent didn't work. Nor did the 10 gallons or so they sent after that (which I never ordered). Obviously, I didn't want more of this worthless product. He told me I already paid for the order and they were just shipping the remainder of the order at no charge. I've since learned this is another of their tactics to ship more useless product. I told him I didn't want or need it and explained again that the product doesn't work and I had no use for it. He shipped another eight gallons and I received a bill for over $500.00. Obviously, I have no intention of paying for this unsolicited shipment. This "company" is nothing but a telemarketing scam. Do yourself a favor, if they contact you, hang up on them immediately!

Poor business practices

This company is unbelievable! They sent us an unsolicited package and then billed us. We called and told them we didn't order it and wanted to return it. They said they don't take returns. Problem is, we keep getting a bill and they treatened to take it to a collection agency. We have tried several times to talk to someone (Mark, in particular) and no one would not talk to us. We were hung up on or put on hold. We even wrote them a letter and got no response.

Not Good Business

A few days ago, I received a call from this company and someone by the name of Paul Stevens. He asked for an employee who no longer works for me and then mentioned that we had ordered drain cleaner in the past. I told him that I was not aware of this and would speak to my maintenance technician and get back to him if we needed this drain cleaner. Then, TODAY I received a package from UPS and it JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE this drain cleaner that myself nor any other employee here had ordered! I called this Paul Stevens guy and he said "Oh, ok, let me get the paperwork on that and call you right back." Hours later, no call, so I called again and the receptionist "couldn't find Paul Stevens" so I then asked to speak with the supervisor. Richard, the supervisor, came on the line and I explained this situation to him and advised him that I don't do business this way. You can't just send product to someone just because you have their address. Richard was then amazingly able to find Paul Stevens who then got on the line and said that UPS will pick it up. We'll see if UPS ever comes to get this stuff.... Long story short, don't do business with these people! Seems like a bunch of crooks to me!

Worst Sales/Customer Service

About 3 years ago I purchased a herbicide from Industrial Chem Lab. After using this product not only did it "not kill" the weeds it seemed to make them greener and healthier. I told my manager I would never buy this product again. The following year my wife told me that a box of weed killer had arrived for me. I took one look at it and knew something was wrong. I said I never ordered this and relived the previous years nightmare and total waste of money. She told me that a nice salesman had called and said that " the Selective Herbicide your husband wanted is in and if it was ok to ship it". It was a deceptive move on the sales department at this company. I instantly called the company and told the UPS driver the next day that I did not want this crap. He told me to call the company again and have them send a return postage to us to send it back. I have sense called Industrial Chem Labs at least 6 or 7 times and they say they will pick the product up. They have yet to deliver on their promise. Unfortunately this has become a standard operating procedure within the United States. These kind of companies seem to pray on individuals who still take a person at their word. I still have the product on my shop shelves waiting for them to be picked up. I even told them I was going to start charging them storage fee for me warehousing their product. Maybe they know something I know that this product is not even worth the money to pay for reverse shipping?
