I had bad experiences with movers before and I honestly thought this was going be different.

They lost one of my boxes, they told me they were going to call me in a few days or write me a check for my loses but it has been more than 2 weeks and now every time I call I get directly the voicemail (maybe the blocked me?).

Note: don't believe in their low estimate, they tell you they are overestimating and there almost no chance they will extra charge you the day of the moving but the truth is they are going to find a way to extra charge you during the moving.

Complaints have been filed with the DOT and BBB. They are not a moving company, they are a broker. The third party they hired refused to disassemble our office furniture and reassemble it at it's destination, then informed me they would not show up for the move. Moving Forward Relocation failed to find a replacement moving company by the dead line, and is now refusing to refund my deposit of $899.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My partner and I used Moving Forward on our move halfway across the country. They gave us a very competitive quote given an inventory of our belongings. That amazing price DOUBLED three days before our scheduled pickup. The movers hired on our behalf by Moving Forward were TWO DAYS late. They deceived us on the nature of our quote (we were told by Moving Forward that our price was dictated by weight, but the movers based our quote on cubic footage), leading to yet another price increase. It took the movers a MONTH to get our belongings to our new house, and when they finally arrived, our stuff was a wreck. Our moving boxes were completely destroyed. We had numerous broken items. The customer service representatives at Moving Forward were completely worthless. None of our emails were returned, and every time we would get ahold of someone on the phone (assuming you can get someone to answer-most of the time no one did), we were fed false promises about management following up with our complaints. Our experience with Moving Forward has been an absolute nightmare, and no one at the company has made an attempt to make things right. AVOID MOVING FORWARD RELOCATION AT ALL COSTS

I put my information in online to get a quote for a move from Michigan to Florida. Moving forward relocation emailed me about a truck in the area. They told me they had a truck that was doing a delivery in Detroit and since their truck was already coming to Florida I would receive a discount. We agreed upon a price. The movers showed up, they did a great job, zero complaints. There were some extra charges for packing but I understand because packing wasn't included in my quote and i didn't have time to do it myself because of my work schedule. My delivery was a little longer than expected but i understand, its long distance moving. All in all, my items arrived in Florida perfectly without harm. I saved some money and I'm very happy with my experience. I would use them again and I already refereed them to my mother who is making a long distance move in the next three months. I have moved many times in the past so i know that its complicated. I have had good companies and bad companies but moving forward relocation was straight up with how everything would work and it was a smooth process.

This has been the worst experience with any company I have ever had, let alone a moving company. We did an inventory of my 2 bedroom townhouse (I live alone) and I got my estimate and took care of the deposit because everything seemed reasonably priced. I chose the option to let the movers pack some of my things (Kitchen) but I packed most of my other things on my own. They show up without enough blankets to cover some of my larger items (TV, coffee tables) and just used boxes to cover the glass on those items and wrapped them in plastic wrap. Wouldn't you know it, I was charged for them using those boxes to pack. Also, they showed up without wardrobe boxes for my hanging items and said they would come back on Friday to give them to me. Well the guy calls Thursday while I am at work and says he is 40 minutes away when can I be there? I called him, he didn't answer but left a message saying I couldn't leave work because he said he would be back Friday. Told him to not worry about it I will pack them myself and drive them to my new home. He calls me back the next day (Friday) and asks why I never called him back. The company is now adding charges to my estimate saying it is 1000 lbs over the estimate yet, my estimate of items was accurate and the washer, dryer and grill that were on the original estimate were never loaded. They added fees for bulky items which I never heard anything about until I was told I already owe $1300 more than the original estimate. My customer service rep has been absolutely no help, stated he would get back to me each of the last two days and has not and also has not given me any answers to why I owe all these extra charges. I still haven't even gotten my things delivered, no one has given me a date or called to update me on a date though I asked on Sunday if they could deliver it the following Sunday. Still no response on that. I am sure they will try to charge me another $1000 somehow once they move my things in again.

I'd give them 0 stars if it were an option. Severely under quoted to get part of my money. Movers showed wanted $3000 more. I simply didn't have it. Have severe autoimmune disorder. Left sobbing trying to find movers one day before closing on home. Terrible terrible!!!!!!!!!

I would like to give a big thank you to Dylan and the rest of the Moving Forward Relocation crew! They moved me and my daughter on September 1, 2017, and they were AWESOME.  They were prompt and very hardworking and fun to work with. I was moving out of Daytona Beach all the way to Dallas.

The entire crew was very respectful, hardworking, and kind. They even took my bed apart and put it back together at our new Dallas house. They were very careful and professional. Once we were at the new place, as hot as it was, they were still more than happy to put all boxes in the correct place. I can't thank them enough for their very hard work and courtesy. I have moved with several different local companies in my life and Moving Forward Relocation has been by far the best. I hope that their employers know how lucky they are to have such good guys working for them.

Moving Forward Relocation did an excellent job with our move from downtown Portland to Raleigh and we will definitely use them again (hopefully not for a while though)!  We have tried two other long distance moving companies in the past and were always disappointed. The other companies just seemed like local movers who didn't know much about doing long distance.... Moving Forward Relocation is a truly professional long distance moving company.

Everyone was friendly, quick, clean, and efficient, and nothing was damaged!  And please note we have lots of large pieces of furniture and antiques, and they took really great care to wrap everything and transport it with care.

This company is really good, stands by its words. Thank you for being prompt and really professional keep it up.

Where do you start! From the phone call to the last item off the truck, it was a pleasant experience.
With a lot of fragile items that were more sentimental then valuable, it could have been a disaster. But everything arrived in perfect condition.
To put your mind at ease, simp,y use Moving Forward Relocation!

It has taken me a little over a month to write this review because I've been so busy settling into my new home, but it is always in the back of my head (their high level of service stuck with me). But here we are, I'm finally going to give them the review they deserve!!

Getting a quote from them over the phone was a breeze. When I first called him it sounded like he was driving and he never once told me to call him back. He made sure all my questions was answered before getting off the line. The price he quoted me was very reasonable.

The crew that came out for the move was amazing. They came on time, were very efficient, and handed EVERYTHING with care (even the small stuff). One of the movers even took apart my son's crib (which was a life saver!), he had all the right tools and said he would be more than happy to help with it.

I had a pretty sizeable amount of fragile items; Moving Forward Relocation was prepared with all sorts of blankets and wraps for each item!! They had so many great tools to help them out (that helps to explain how they did the move SO amazingly quick).

I had so many large/heavy items that I actually felt bad for the crew. There were many times during the move that I tried to help them out. They wouldn't have it, they said "just sit back an relax! We do this all the time!"

I finally accepted their offer to relax and had a seat on the couch; the crew had a suprisingly engaging conversation with me (all while working very hard) it was great. There wasn't none of that awkward silence where you just watch workers do there job haha.

The crew never complained one bit, even though there was way more large items than they expected. They finished right on time too!

I am very satisfied and I will be giving them a call back very soon so they can help my parents move!

I highly recommend Moving Forward Relocation!

They recently moved some heavy furniture out of my home.  They loaded and packed their truck very carefully using plenty of pads.  They also unloaded my belongings from their truck and packed them very efficiently / safely into a storage facility compartment.  The team of three men were professional, efficient, polite and respectful to me, as well as to each other.

The person I spoke with over the phone told me what the cost would be prior to the move and that's exactly what I was charged after the work was done--very honest. They were a pleasure to do business with.

I would DEFINITELY call them again should the need arise.

Great service, extremely friendly and took excellent care for my things. Everyone at Moving Forward Relocation was extremely efficient- moved my entire one bedroom to the next town over in 1.5 hours. I also really appreciated their flexibility to fit my schedule. We got started at 7 am and completed by 8:30 on a Friday morning, so I didn't even have to take time off of work. Their prices were very competitive compared to the others in the area. Overall great experience and would recommend this Moving Forward Relocation to anyone.

The crew from Moving Forward Relocation that helped with our move was excellent. To offer a bit of context, we moved on November 21st and we were hosting Thanksgiving at our new house, so we needed to complete as much of the move and house set up as humanly possible on the move date. 

We arranged for a 3 man crew for 4 hours to move from a 5 bedroom house to a 4 bedroom house. They were prompt, friendly, careful and courteous. They were amazingly able to move some large pieces through some small spaces (and did it so gracefully, hah). There was no damage to any of our items or to either home. These guys did a really really good job! I'm not great at writing reviews, what else do I say…

They were very understanding of my dog Charlie (who literally barked from the time the moving truck pulled into the driveway to the time it left after the move).

They were really nice people, we even joked around a little bit during the move.

No complaints from me about anything, if you need to move, Moving Forward Relocation is an excellent choice.

My girlfriend hired Moving Forward Relocation for our last move, and I have to admit that I was a little bit skeptical at first. I usually go with one of the more well known companies, like the ones with that jingle... I had to apologize PROFUSELY for doubting her; Moving Forward Relocation were absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best moving company that I have ever worked with.

They were extremely friendly and detail-oriented with the move.  Needless to say they were extremely strong and didn't even take any breaks (although my girlfriend brought them water when she saw how hard they were working). I was amazed at how fast they packed up the truck, especially on such a hot-humid day.

I was also impressed at how efficient the loading of our stuff was, they don't just pile things in haphazardly, the truck was kept perfectly organized  - furniture was put onto the truck in a manner that wasted no space, allowing us to move EVERYTHING just one trip to the new house. They  also assembled/disassembled some of our furniture, which was a big (and unexpected) plus. I was skeptical when my girlfriend said that they quoted her for a 5 hour move, I thought that it would take WAY longer than that (especially including travel time). Yet again, I had to apologize. They were completely done in 4 hours and 35 minutes.

The moral of the story: Hire Moving Forward Relocation (and ALWAYS trust your girlfriend). 5 stars.

I was cautious going with a full service mover at first but I was sure glad I did. They were also a little bit more expensive but I went with it because you get what you pay for. They picked up and dropped off on time and didn't charge me anymore money. Very happy with the move.
