About Us: Wenaha Gallery is spacious, with nearly 2,000 sq. ft. of display area. It has a quiet, relaxed setting that allows you to take your time and appreciate the wide variety of art on display. Our gallery is the ultimate alternative to the metropolitan mall experience. The Dayton Depot (Washington's oldest railroad station) and the Victorian style Weinhard Hotel are within a block of the Wenaha Gallery. Dayton's Columbia County Courthouse, restored in 1993 and winner of the Washington State Historic Preservation Award, is one block to the east. Dayton is located in the rolling Palouse Hills, nestled against southeastern Washington's Blue Mountains. The century old community is on the Lewis and Clark Trail and on the main highway between Walla Walla, Lewiston, and Spokane. Dayton is a small but active community which hosts several festivals, fairs, and rodeos and is 22 miles from the popular ski basin, Ski Bluewood. Eastern Washington's only four star restaurant, The Patit Creek Restaurant, and several bed and breakfasts are located in town. Visitors often come to Dayton to eat and spend the rest of the day shopping in various antique and gift stores.
