this summer my bill for electric tripled when I asked for troubleshooter, the owner came, checked unit the next day he sent bill and within the hour he diagnosed the problem, ordered part, and fixed my air.....ahhhhh, comfortable again have used southtown for a long staff and trades are wonderful....and bill, you are my hero

Called sunday 7-16-17 came out monday gave quote by dave very attentive to our needs. Installed new ac unit tuesday at 430 pm finished at 1015 by bob and travis very professional workers explained everything. Wanted to up size unit said its a waste of my money and very costly. Listened to dave he was sure right , very happy with all southtown employees. Ive used this company for years, AAA+++++ RATING.

I had a consultant out to my home and explained the project I was looking to get a bid for. He looked at my cape cod home in Kettering Ohio and made suggestions and said he would write up a proposal and I didn't hear back from him. I called the office and attempted twice more to get the bid from him and was unsuccessful. It's unfortunate that after spending thousands of dollars with this company I couldn't even get a proposal from them for my home. This is a very poor way to show your appreciation to previous customers. I just purchased a new home in Oakwood and can guarantee that I won't be calling this company back for any bids. I'll continue to work with Mcafee heating and air conditioning as they have replaced my AC unit and Furnace all work that would have went to Southtown had they been able to actually follow through with their promise of quality customer service.

We would like to caution people about false reviews. We saw this review from Richard P. and took the time to research our home visits for the past 6 months. We double checked with our sales sheets, our proposals and our Comfort Advisor’s schedules; we were never at a Richard P.’s home. Unfortunately, there are competitors that will enter false reviews in an effort to make a company look bad! We would never do this. We feel that our reputation says everything about how we do business. If you are reading this and you are Richard P. that supposedly wrote this review, we would appreciate you calling us. We would like specifics on how we let you down and more importantly when, since we haven’t found any record of you or our visit to your home. These guys are very slow and inefficient in what they do. We've left numerous messages to have them give us a call back but we received nothing in return. We had to delay our work for over 2 weeks because they were unresponsive. My recommendation to all who are looking for a plumber or an electrician is to avoid this company at all cost. The only reason I'm giving a one star is because they don't have anything lower than that. From reading the other reviews left by "other" customers.. I don't buy it for a minute.

It makes it hard to answer or respond to these reviews when specific data isn’t provided. We went back through the entire month of November, searching for this job. The only person who we performed plumbing work for during that time period and required several stages of work, was a commercial location that didn’t have the proper approved drawings when they had us begin the work. We then pushed them for the approved drawings whereas the inspector came in and changed many things they had originally laid out on the first one. We had to wait for the final approval and the approved changes in pricing that were required with the added work. Once approved, we moved quickly to complete the work. Sometimes in dealing with the local inspectors, people don’t realize that we are governed by the manner in which work has to be performed via the local codes. Customers should realize we and all contractors have to work within the code parameters and the manner in which inspections must be performed. It is often perceived as our delaying, when in all reality, it is the steps we must take to move forward. Thank you.

Had my spring inspection done recently, which I needed badly. Southtown was able to get me scheduled right away and work with my busy schedule. When the technician showed up, he was very polite and even wore those little plastic booty things. He was very thorough, mentioned a few things I needed to have repaired soon. Overall he did very well and I will use them again!

My next door neighbor referred me to Southtown. He's a savvy shopper and probably a tough customer. :-) I'm very happy I listened to him and went with Southtown. Prompt, courteous service, excellent price for the product, fast installation and really nice technicians. The guys were very conscientious about keeping the mess to a minimum and vacuumed the whole area after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Southtown and will be using them in the near future to do insulation for me.
