I had the pleasure of visiting this fine establishment just yesterday and I am still on cloud nine. Not only because of the truly fair payment for the jewelry that Mom wanted me to sell but also because of the kind, positive & willing to help attitude that greeted me as I walked in & remained with me until I walked out the door. There was a specialist on hand who was working with the customer before me who carefully examined my items without delay. My wait time was reasonable & it passed quickly as another superb employee took a moment to make sure I was being helped. The parking is excellent. The store is spacious, clean & layed out nicely. The chairs are comfortable as well. There was Security Officer on duty who wore a protective mask just like all the employees & myself. I had no concerns regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic. I was completely comfortable during my time there, even while talking with an expert named Bonnie who presented me with the fair offer I've already mentioned. Their price was acceptable to me but the decision to take this offer was solely up to Mom to make. I inquired as to Bonnie running this by Mom herself. She had no problem with calling Mom to give her the details & she kindly answered each question Mim had in addition to patiently listening to what Mom wanted to share with her. Mom said yes & a copy of my Driver's License was made & I left with the cash, the receipt & peaceful knowing inside of me that I would be leaving a review about our experience on Google & even at a few other places. I have never been in a situation where we needed to do this & I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Now, I can honestly say that I would trust them with any business in the future that my own Mother would need to conduct. To me, that says a whole lot & I am very thankful that I visited their establishment first. Thank you Bonnie & the whole staff. Your a true Blessing to us during these unique & trying times. No. Way. I phoned beforehand to get a quote on a one-ounce(standard) American eagle--still unopened, in Mylar wrapping. On the phone they said $1100-1300. I drove half an hour to see them and they said $1000 which included their (plus ten percent-yeah right) kicker. Wasted my time, and they will waste yours!

I score this company a zero. The owner is a Jerk. I tried to sell gold and he offered about 70% of the next highest offer. I talked to the owner and he said take it or leave it.



He has to pay for all the advertising he does so you are not going to get a good deal.

Advertising, Advertising, Advertising. This is all this place does. With all the advertising i decided to check them out for some christmas shopping. The salesperson was a joke. 52% off i was told time and time again. Its not 52% off its what the item would sell for elsewhere or for less. The quility of their adverstised items is horrible. I realize these people are salespeople, but they are trained to sell you the idea that you are getting a great price, not trained to sell you a great product. i heard the same sales pitch to every customer in the store, 52% off, prefered customer, let me go in the back and call the owner. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER, THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.



Look at it this way, all the money they spend on advertising and the 15 salespeople they have, they could take that money and give you 75% off. At 52% off (or they say) i found better quility items at the same price or less. I've been in retail for along time, they mark it up so it appears you are getting a great buy. What a joke.



As like many other comments before mine, theres no way those where customer comments, if they where, come to my house i got some things i could sell you - 52% off.

I went to this location hoping to get information about some gold,silver and diamonds I have. The salesmen were rude and treated me like a fool. They lowballed offers to another person who was very unhappy and gave me such low offers I left. I felt dirty when I left and will never go back.

Stay away from this place! They act like they are on drugs, running around and not making any sense. They will sell you trash and take your money. This is nothing more than a pawn shop. Beware of positive reviews for this place. They must have been written by the owner because they are not true!

After doing some homework, I expected to have a great experience at this place. That was so opposite of what actually happened when I tried to conduct business with this place at their 5949 Far Hills Ave location. I was trying to sell some gold rings to them, but they played every trick in the book to not be fair with me. I was lied to REPEATEDLY. I watched from a distance as the guy weighed the rings. I also saw him use a gold tester. I had called them before going there to see how much they would pay for each pennyweight of gold. They didn't even come close to offering that amount until I told them I had called before coming in. On top of that, one of my rings was 18K gold, but because it was made in Brazil, it wasn't stamped. But that's what the gold testing machine is for... They decided to lie to me instead and tell me that they could only offer us a payout based on 10K gold because they had no way to determine if it was 18K gold or not. They said that they would have to mail it to another state, and then someone would have to file some of the gold off and put it into some chemicals to determine whether or not it was really 18K gold. They also said that the "refiner" they sell the gold to would only pay them for 10K gold if it wasn't marked. I definitely was not going to sell them the 18K gold ring when they were making up so many things about it that weren't true. However, I did try to make a good deal on the other two rings I had. They first offered me $50 for the pair. Then I was offered $80 when I told them they said they'd pay no less than $20 per pennyweight. Technically, they came up to a more reasonable price. However, I also had an ad where they promised, "We pay TOP DOLLAR," and you will "Receive 10% extra with this ad." Also, we told them what the radio station said about giving us a $10 gas card if you mention the radio ad. They wanted me out of the store at that point. They refused to add either the 10% extra or the $10 gift card. They did NOT honor their advertising. They did not intend to pay me top dollar originally by offering just $50. (They must think people are really stupid.) They also only offered $25 on the 18K gold ring, which I got over $100 for at Belmont Coin Shop, which did everything right and above board without gimmicks or games. Belmont used the same gold testing machine, and they verified quickly that the ring really was 18K gold like we knew it was. International Diamond Jewelers will NEVER get any business from me - I don't care how "good" their advertising looks. They cannot be trusted. They do not care about the consumer. They will lie and say anything to try to make a profit. They want to just pad their pockets and leave you with a much-less-than-fair transaction. I don't recall ever being lied to so many times in one day from any establishment I have ever encountered.
