Community Blood Center, located in Dayton, Ohio, provides donors a variety of community-based resources for blood transfusion and tissue and bone marrow transplantation. The center also provides blood components, transfusion medicine and therapeutic blood services to various communities. Community Blood Center is a member of America's Blood Centers, a national network of nonprofit, independent community blood centers. The center s service area includes more than 20 hospitals in over 10 counties, and it also has a comprehensive volunteer donor base. It additionally provides services to donor families, medical communities, recipients and community partners through recovery, processing and distribution of tissue grafts.
