I took a one week old puppy there that had a severe laceration on his head. They took the pup back immediately and had me wait in waiting area. After an hour of waiting I inquire and find out they haven’t even looked at him yet. I ask for him back so I could at least bottle feed him while we wait. 2 hours still waiting I let them know this pup cannot be separated from his mom much longer and still survive. They tell me it will be at least another hour and that since he was stable, all other emergencies were going in front of him. What kind of vet doesn’t know how quickly a 1 week old pup will fade if separated from mom too long? He was critical because of his age. I left and found another vet open on Sundays Springboro veterinary and Urgent care, they were great and stitched him up immediately. Don’t go to Dayton Care if you have an emergency that can’t wait 3 or more hours. ☹️

About two months ago, I had the awful experience of taking my severely ill pet to the Care Center. After being separated during the exam and told my pet had a mild non-life threatening injury. I left very unhappy with a very sick pet which died the next day at my normal Vet's office. My pet was in heart and organ failure and I would never take another pet there under any circumstance.

Even though I hated having to go to an emergency vet instead of my regular vet (emergencies do happen)... this place was great. Very nice staff and they looked at all the possibilities of what could be wrong. I highly recommend this place!

You should be able to put zero...

You should be able to put zero stars. I guess they get one star for answering their phone. These people want $211 just to euthanize a dog on a Sunday afternoon. How can you take advantage of people in such a horrible time in their life? I have never heard of such crooks. My friend also took her dog there and he was misdiagnosed. I will not be surprised when this place goes under.
