Chris Haulk, a ’88 graduate of Caldwell County, and his wife, Tricia, spent the first part of their married life stationed in North Carolina while Chris served his country for six years as a Marine. After his service, Chris and Tricia moved back to Chris’ hometown of Dawson Springs, Kentucky. For five years Chris worked third shift at the Buckhorn plastic factory, while attending school at MCC to earn his HVAC license and Associates Degree. After graduating, Chris worked as a HVAC Service Tech for seven years. In 2004, Chris and Tricia Haulk were offered the opportunity to purchase B.W. Akin by the owner, Billy Wayne Akin. Billy Wayne started the company in 1974, and the Haulks could not pass up the opportunity to own a long-standing HVAC company. Since purchasing B.W. Akin, Chris and Tricia have also grown their family to include two wonderful daughters, ages 10 and 6. The Haulks strive to provide the BEST service for Western Kentucky area’s Electrical, Heating and Cooling needs!
