Operational since 1996, The Daphne Library operates in an 18,000-square-foot building having designated areas for pre-schoolers, older children, young adults and adults. Located in Daphne, Ala., its facility features study areas, computer booths with Internet access and a browsing area with seating as well as current newspapers/magazines. The library stocks more than 51,480 volumes comprising a collection of books, books-on-tape, videos and CD-ROMs. Additionally, large print books and an extensive collection of children's materials are available.
