This company did a horrible job sanding and finishing our floors. They looked awful when they were finished. We left several messages for the owner telling him we were not happy with the job but he refused to return our phone calls. After at least five phone calls, he finally answered the phone. When we told him we were not happy with the floors and there were many problem areas throughout the house, he said “he has done the best he can” and he hung the phone up.



We then sent him a letter detailing the problems, and he never replied. At that point we had a certified hardwood flooring inspector with more than 20 years experience come in to take a look at the floors. The report we received from him stated that the work they did indicated a lack of attention to detail and it was apparent that they lacked the ideals of craftsmanship. There were bare spots in several areas throughout the house where they missed with the polyurethane. There was a 3’ by 1’ bare spot in the hallway that they missed with the polyurethane. Dust and debris was embedded in the finish in a few places. Polyurethane was splashed over the baseboards in some areas. There were also drum marks from improper sanding.



If this is “the best he can do”, I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. This guy just takes your money and runs away – he doesn’t care how the floors look, he does a horrible job, and he doesn’t stand by his work.



There are a lot of good hardwood floor finishing companies out there. Do yourself a favor and don’t hire this guy or you could be sorry. I know I am.
