Bud is an excellent trainer. He is really good at motivating you to workout hard, and pushes you to the limits of your ability. I had great results from working out in his studio. The best part is the variety in the workouts - he always find something new to do, and most of the time you are not even using the machines. He found I responded best to bootcamp-style instruction and gave me the right amount of "push." (you will finish every set, no excuses)

Bud was my 3rd personal trainer I tried to get back in shape. After I was extremely disappointed with my first 2 trainers I decided to try out one more.

I came into training with a fair number of pre-existing injuries and sensitives, and Bud was great about helping me actually resolve a lot of the issues that were causing my injuries in the first place. He absolutely pushed me to my limit while keeping safety at the forefront, AND I actually exceeded my personal goals in just 10 sessions. Bud made every single work out interesting, fun, and hard as hell.

I signed up for about 30 sessions with Bud this past winter/spring and would definitely recommend him for anybody who needs that little shove to get their a ss in gear. Bud is very, very well informed about the latest news and information regarding fitness. He was great about catering my workouts around my bad lower back while keeping me engaged at all times. You know how you hear that after a while you stop seeing results because you've reached a plateau? well, that would never happen because Bud has about a million different little exercises and knows exactly when to push and when to lay off. I found that tears in your eyes and shaky arms are very effective.

Bud will seriously kick your a ss. And he'll make you feel good about paying him to do it. He's not just about fitness, but about nutrition too, and he emphasizes how all the pieces work together. He keeps workouts entertaining (well, hellish is more like it, but in an entertaining way) despite going to see him 3x per week.

I've worked with a lot of personal trainers over the years and Bud is the best. Pushes me beyond what I can do in my solo workouts but not to the point where I can't walk the next day (an issue I've had with previous trainers). Bud is also very knowledgeable about diet, nutrition, and training techniques. I definite plus over the trainer that can only offer "feel the burn," as advice.

Take it from a difficult client, Bud is like a fitness genie, genuinely committed to making your health goals come true. Sometimes, I wasn't really that committed and would try anything possible to weasel out of the third set. But Bud kept our eyes on the prize and i always felt like he truly believed in me. The exercises are great but it's Bud's attitude, demeanor and dare I say, wisdom, that makes his training sessions such a great find.

Having never been to a gym before, I decided going the route of a personal trainer might be the best for me, instead of feeling lost in a big gym. Bud completely knew the best way to work my knee, and additionally whip me into shape. So besides strengthening my knee, I've shed 28 lbs and decreased my body fat by around 5% in about 5 months.

All of the comments I received just after a few weeks of working with Bud convinced me that this is the best way to go. It's sick, but now I look forward to our sessions. Sometimes it's a bit hard to work out while laughing my a ss off (he's a funny guy), but it's worth it.



When I first started seeing Bud, I was about 35lbs over my "target weight." Bud's persistent enthusiasm and motivation helped me make the lifestyle changes to get me closer to my target. I've now lost 19lbs and am still heading in the right direction. I don't see how I would be able to work out and push myself without his help.

Needless to say I was very impressed. This guy knew everything about me, before I even told him. After the first few sessions I figured out why my previous trainers were a complete waste of my time.

Bud is a kick-a ss trainer. He's extremely focused and will push you to work harder than you ever thought possible- even if you already think you're plenty self-motivated. He will train you like the rockstar athlete you are- or think you are. When Bud tells you to do a third rep of push-ups or squats, you'll do it- even though your muscles are burning, your heart's pounding, and you really don't feel like it. Don't let his soft-spoken and polite demeanor fool you- he means business. He is the consummate professional trainer. Always. He's friendly, but he won't let you wuss out or slack off.

I've had an excellent experience with Bud as my trainer. He's extremely smart, and knows so much about exercising, dieting, etc. He tailors your sessions to you and how your body works. I had some previous problems with my shoulder, so he chose exercises that put less strain on my shoulder. And beyond being an excellent trainer, Bud is also a great guy. He's fun to workout with.

If you want to get in shape without having to think about reps, weights, or gym memberships - this is the place to go. I've been training with Bud for a few months now and am amazed at the results!



The best part is, I don't have to think about anything. I show up and Bud has everything worked out - and it seems like a new routine every session. I've never been good about fitting fitness into my oh-so-busy schedule, so not having to think about or plan my workouts is great!

Bud knows exactly how far to push you and is a great motivator (despite all the bitching I do).

I worked out with Bud for almost 10 months. He is terrific, to put it mildly. I came in not having worked out with weights for over 10 years. Bud changed my lumpy waist into something to be proud of in no time. He gave me metrics and goals by which to measure my progress and gave me the tools so that I can now do this on my own. He cares about his work and about your success. Be prepared to look and feel differently about yourself!

I trained with Bud three months this winter and spring. I had sustained a cycling-related knee injury, and my physical therapist recommended that I find a personal trainer who could help me build core strength as well as equalize strength in my legs. (Turns out my left side is way stronger than my right side.) Working out with Bud was a pleasure. I never knew what he was going to throw at me any given workout, so the workouts had a lot of variety and never got boring. They were really tough, too, very appropriately scaled to my level. Bud has a great sense of humor, and I like to joke around a lot, so we both laughed a lot during training.

What can I say about Bud? He's...

What can I say about Bud? He's professional, motivated, and motivating, knowledgeable, and caring. I guess I was expecting to feel intimidated or judged by my personal trainer. Instead, I feel cared after by a real pro. He's swtiched up my workout to keep it interesting and aside from being more toned than I've been in 10 years, I actually look forward to working out with a new friend.
