Provided by YPmobileAfter all the reviews and craze on tv and the owner of the franchises being so critical towards others cupcakes, I thought that I was in for a real treat. I attended a baby shower and the cupcakes were served there I took a vanilla that's usually a "go to you can't miss flavor" was I wrong it was horrible dry, flavorless, even the icing was hard a flavorless. Well my sister had the red velvet and wanted me to taste hers it also horrible. We covered them with napkins a trashed them yuck !!! Well at least I didn't wast my own money on them and I never will.

Provided by YP.comToday during our daughters Eight Year Old Birthday party another parents was excited to tell us of the Leap Day offer at Sprinkles, get a Dozen Cupcakes if today is your birthday. Our daughter loves Sprinkles, or did, until we went to the store. The staff behind the counter was helpful and began to help my wife, when the manager arrived and asked for proof that today was our Eight Year Old daughter’s birthday, she of course does not carry photo ID and my wife just did not happen to have her birth certificate in her pocket to prove her birthday, which the manager told her would be require to claim the offering. They left calling me, a little upset and not understanding what they were supposed to have done. Well in the digital age I happened to have my iPad and access to online storage where I have all of our important documents scanned. We returned to the store asking for the offer once again with iPad in tow and the scanned copy of daughter’s birth certificate displayed on the screen, the staff behind the counter asking no questions except “what she would like”? I can only guess that they had faced an onslaught of young children attempting a cupcake caper by acting as if it today was their birthday, and the manager had to step up the regulations above the TSA and Homeland Security travel requirements, as she was now expecting every 4, 8 and 12 year old to carry photo id. I am sure there are people that take advantage of generous offers likes this, it is something special to recognize a unique birthday and the Sprinkles website does say photo id, but approaching customers and more specifically children as if they are liars and need to prove today is their birthday seems a little extreme.

Provided by YP.comI recently visited Sprinkels on a trip to Dallas with one of my good friends. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with their cupcakes. Not only were they a bit costly, but the taste wasn't all that good. The double chocolate cupcake and the pumpkin cupcake had the best flavors. I definitely enjoyed sharing them. But the taste (or lack of taste) with vanilla/Chocolate and red velvet were terrible. On my next trip to TX, I think I'll stop at another bakery if I'm in the mood for cupcakes!!

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I are avid fans of Food Network's Cupcake Wars. One of the judges is the founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes. After being inspired to buy cupcakes, we tried several in our neighborhood and found them to be dry and flavorless with sickenly sweet icing. After numerous recommendations to go to Sprinkles, we drove from Fort Worth to Dallas (about 50 miles round trip) to find out what all the fuss was about. Holy cupcakes, Batman! The cupcakes were perfect in every way: super moist, just-right sweetness and over the top delicious. It was worth the drive. It would be worth the $35 delivery fee if we choose to have them delivered next time.
Luckily, it appears the snarky ladies at the counter described by previous reviewers must have been replaced. Everyone at Sprinkles was warm, inviting and extremely helpful.
Bonus: they offer a vegan and a gluten free cupcake!
