They gave one quote of 2300 , then without the lawn mower, two complete bedroom sets and washer and dyer it went to 1800 . On the day of the move, they showed up and wanted to charge me 3800 dollars . With the closing on my home the next day we really had no choice. We had called and said we had extra boxes , but no where near the room the other stuff would have taken . The driver told us they only guess at the quote, the person I spoke to on the phone said if the quote is wrong it's their fault , when I told the Manager that , he just about called his own people liars .Run, don't walk, away from these guys .

I used these guys twice. The first time they unloaded my 10 ft. Uhaul and walked everything up to a 3rd floor brownstone. They were really efficient, careful and nothing broke. (I also did a very good job of packing everything in either boxes or plastic bins to maximize the space.)



I was so happy with everything they did that I called them again when I moved back out. They basically took the same stuff and packed it. There were different guys doing the job but equally as nice, careful, helpful and smart. They packed the Truck like champs and left a lot of room to spare!



I hope I never have to move again but if I do I'm calling them.

I had a phenomenal experience with Royal Moving last week. I needed help for a move into an apartment in the financial district. The entire process - from the initial booking to the actual move itself - was entirely flawless. The crew was completely professional and maintained great communication throughout the move. I didn't appreciate how challenging parking would be near my apartment and the moving truck ultimately needed to be parked several blocks away. This meant a lot of extra walking for the crew but they took this in stride and didn't complain at all. They got right down to business and finished the job in about half the time that I would have expected. Chris and Nate were consummate professionals and genuinely nice guys. I've moved plenty of times and I've even worked my fair share of manual labor jobs myself. The highest praise that I can give these guys is that they work hard. Really hard. Pricing was incredibly reasonable for this level of service.

Royal Moving is fabulous. The manager Matt is very responsive, always on emails and get back to your questions within a second! they provided me with cost and additional charges ahead of time before the move started. The three movers for our move: Moss, Owen and Steve are very friendly and very professional AND have muscles! they arrived on time and started working right away, wrapped every piece of our furniture very nicely! I was recommended to Royal Moving from my friend because they had great experience. Now I highly recommend intense movers to everyone who is looking for friendly and professional movers!

I reached out to Royal Moving and Storage a few days before my son needed to move from TX to San Jose. These guys were on it! I immediately received an email confirmation and a quote that knocked my socks off :)



When the moving came, they texted me as to when they would arrive. They showed up unbelievably polite and positive - and proceeded to quickly and efficiently get the furniture on the truck.



They were fast, courteous and an absolute pleasure to work with - I will definitely be using Royal Moving & Storage again...and telling all of my friends about them!!

Royal's crew managed a complicated long haul - from Texas to the Boston area, 2 different apartments with tough timing - and they did a terrific job. They loaded 2 apartments in Texas, were on time on both of them and loaded the truck quick and efficient. Prior to the move Royal provided packing material and an ample amount of boxes.



They handled all the complications of bulky furniture, narrow corners and time pressure with greatest care and success. The crew was friendly and professional, they knew what they were doing. Full-time movers, no cheap extras. After few nightly-long ride they arrived on time in Boston and unloaded with the same efficiency and professionalism as experienced before. Pricing was reasonable and beat the competitors.



Overall we could not have asked for more - this was a perfect job and we have to thank Mike for making the strenuous time of moving so much more easy and enjoyable. I hope this review helps others in picking Royal Moving, they are the best!
