This locally owned and operated neighborhood restaurant has been serving the Lake Highlands community for the past several years. It is a surprisingly cozy spot in an old strip center, and even sports a shaded patio. The owners have clearly paid attention to their menu, and they serve dinner entrees as well as soup/salad/sandwich type fare. Our family calls it the lunch place and our favorites are the club sandwich and the French dip.



The Highlands Cafe does serve alcohol. They have a friendly and helpful staff and appear to employ some nice local high school students.
