Great food and an awesome meat counter!

Kuby's is a real find for us, although we are sure that it has been known to its regulars for decades. It's a real neighborhood gathering place where the wait staff knows many of the customers and the customers know each other. The breakfasts are especially good and as reasonably priced as you can get. We marvel at how they can make any money at the prices they charge. The quality of the food is first-rate and the service is also rather good, althought (no offense) most of the wait staff look rather harried from the start. Be prepared to get there early for a booth / table, if not you will be in a potentially long line. The turnover is rather fast though, so the waits are not daunting. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Can't be beat for German fare. Get there early, though, as it always busy around meal times. They also have a fantastic grocery store, including meat counters, attached.

be prepared to wait but man oh man are those hash browns great. plus the bacon. All with a German flair. Delicious.
