Based in Dallas, Shelton School is one of the leading educational institutions in the United States. A private, nonprofit organization, Shelton enrolls more than 3,500 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. Operational for more than 30 years, it is approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and Independent Schools Association. The school provides individualized and multisensory programs for children with different learning capabilities. It offers special educational programs for students suffering from dyslexia and attention deficit, attention deficit hyperactivity, and speech and language disorders. Shelton School also provides a training and referral center for educators, parents, physicians, psychologists and student interns. Additionally, it has an evaluation center and speech pathology clinic offering language evaluations, screenings, individual and group therapies, and outreach programs.
