Excellent experience with Jimmy at JDH. He responded to my Saturday night emailed quote request on a Sunday morning (wasn't expecting that!). I asked if I could have my sofa's springs fixed without reupholstering and he said absolutely- if the upholstery was in good shape that would be the way to go. I also got new cushion cores. It was done in a week and now my sofa is like new again! Very reasonable pricing. Pick up and delivery guys were super nice and very professional. I'm already getting a quote to reupholster 2 arm chairs!

JDH Upholstery was amazing the BEST customer service and fine craftsmanship to go along with it. Alma was a pleasure to work with and kept me updated on the process of our custom red couches for our ILKB studio. I couldn't get over how fast that they had these made for us. Like in two weeks this was amazing. The couches were created and wrapped so no damage was done at all. I couldn't be more happy with them. They are made extremely well, even my contractor commented on how well that they were made. Our studio is almost finished so I had to add a picture of the couches. A Big Thank You to Alma and James. I'd highly recommend them for any of your projects.

I had a small bench that I needed recovered. JDH submitted a bid very shortly after I sent a photo of my piece. It was ready in 36 hours and very nicely upholstered. The price was quite reasonable, too. I'm very pleased and would use them again.

Had a large oddly-shaped sofa re-upholstered by JDH. They did amazing work, quickly and for a very reasonable price. Will bring more projects here for sure!

JDH Custom Upholstery did a great job re-upholstering my four dinette chairs and re-stuffing my two sofa pillows. I supplied the upholstery and they supplied the sorely needed cushions for the chairs and pillows. They turned the job around in record time as I needed the job done quickly. They were not the cheapest estimate in town, nor the most expensive, but rather a very fair price for very professional work. But where I think JDH really stands out from the crowd is their customer service. I emailed them for an estimate and received a reply from Jimmy quickly. I emailed questions and again received a reply from Jimmy quickly. I called and there was someone to talk to and help me. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and genuine. Good-old fashioned customer service -- not something you see often these days!

Jimmy was great to work with, and created beautiful custom benches for our office. The entire process was quick, and we got exactly what we wanted.

They did a wonderful job repairing my antique coffee table. One of the legs was broken completely off. I would highly recommend this company!

I am so happy to have found JDH - they do excellent work - quickly and very reasonably priced! They were very personable and helpful trying to figure out the best way to recover my barstools. So later I brought in another chair for their expert help and it was finished just a couple days later looking wonderful!! They have a great selection of coverings and also have some nice upholstered pieces for sale on their showroom floor. I will definitely be taking more items to them and telling all my friends! Work for The Salvation Army and I wanted to reupholster a chair an ottoman because the original material was worn but the "bones" were good. I was extremely pleased with the work and the price. Would definitely recommend them to others and would use them again.

Run a commercial business in Allen Texas. Called with a broken booth. The response was amazing, the work was amazing, the tech's were amazing. These guys knew what they were doing and it showed when the work was finished. I can assure anyone reading this review that I have moved JDH is now the only booth company in my cell phone. UT Dallas has been a client of JD since 2009 when we opened a new dining facility. JD is solutions oriented. They could have easily followed my request for recovering our failing booths, but they came up with another solution that not only saved us money in the log run, but completely eradicated the problem of our sagging booths!

About a year ago we wanted to have my grandmothers 80 year old rocker refinished and reupholstered. We live in Arlington and could not find anyone we felt comfortable with. Randomly called JD and then brought the chair in. They gave us a quote and recommended fabric after talking to us about the look we wanted. Decided to get another quote. Well JD was half the price. So, long story short, they did our rocker. It looks wonderful. So, 2 weeks I decided I wanted our kitchen table bench cushion recovered. Called with the measurements, got the amount of fabric needed and within 3 days our cushion was ready and looks great. I will never go anywhere else. They are extremely friendly and you get a cash discount.

JD created some custom button tufted radius booths for a Country Club project my company is working on. We had a very tight deadline and he was able to meet it and deliver top quality product. The booths are all beautiful and well made. We are very pleased and look forward to working with him in the future.

I took a family heirloom chest from the 1800's to Be restored. It's absolutely beautiful now. It looks just like it did when it was new. I can't praise the craftsmanship enough. Thank you Jimmy

After sending JD a picture VIA internet he called me within the hour with an estimate. I was unsure about the fabric to use and he was a book of knowledge helping me every step of the way. He sent his delivery men out within the week to pick my furniture up and even though the holiday season was upon us he promised my furniture back within a week and it was done. His delivery men are professional and so happy. His office staff are professional , courteous , above and beyond friendly. I am a real estate agent and I will be giving all my clients with furniture needs his contact. I cant say enough except THANKS JD!!!!!!!

I sent JDH a photograph of my sofa and I received a quote within 24 Hours. They picked up my sofa when promised and delivered back to me within a week. The delivery men were professional and polite and the quality of the workmanship was great. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I got a wood dresser and two night tables refinished/painted. These items belonged to my grandparents so I was terrified to trust anyone with them. I emailed James about 34857943 times and he was understanding of my constant pestering. I am very happy with the way the pieces turned out! My suggestion is to get every possible detail of what you want done emailed to JDH and in the invoice before the work starts. JDH and the team took care of my furniture and it looks beautiful for a good price.

Best upholsterer decision ever! I got top-notch recommendations for JDH/Jim from a friend and a brother (neither of whom knew the other had recommended Jim) and he came through on the job every bit as good as they said he would. From estimate inquiry through finished piece delivery, Jim was courteous, prompt, professional and attentive. I absolutely recommend him and I'll use JDH services again when the next occasion arises.
