Dr. Mihaela V Stoica practices General Adult as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Following her residency, Dr Stoica completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Stoica is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry as well as in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Texas A&M College of Medicine- Dallas Campus and teaches Disorder of Childhood and Adolescence and Eating Disorders in the Thorntree Psychiatric Associates based Texas A&M Medical Student Psychiatric clinical clerkship.
Dr Stoica is fluent in English, Spanish and Romanian.
She has a special interest and is involved in ongoing research in novel therapeutic modalities for both adult and childhood illnesses, including genetic testing, repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and nasal esketamine (Spravato).
