Lacking bedside manner, or any manners..to say the least

After injurying my neck, I saw a great Neurosurgeon. He sent me to have a CT Mylogram. He reviewed the test results & said no surgery needed...pain management & injections were needed. So He referred me to Dr. Atlin.
The 1st visit with him was a nightmare!
1st let me say....anytime a Dr., namely pain management Drs ask for a UA, this does not bother me. In fact, I like it...I know they deal with all types of people, some looking for medicine they don't really need, and they are protecting themselves.
The visit was alot of him asking questions that was all in the paperwork (in the chart right in front of him) he'd ask stuff, I'd start to answer & he'd cut me off/interrupt EVERYTIME !!!!
He then told me he couldnt take me on as a patient. I literally left that apt in tears due to he was so very rude. The very next day his office calls me back & says he will take me as a patient & schedules an apt for a week or so later.
So we go to that apt. His attitude was the same. He insists it's important to get to know me...so he asks me questions, & still when I start to answer he interrupts everytime. He opens my chart, but closes
it before seeing anything. By the end of that apt the plan was for me to come back
in 2 weeks to discuss the much needed
injections scheduled, IF I was compliant.
LOL I was compliant at that 1st visit. But ok
I played his game. 2 weeks later we drove
3 hours 1 way back to see him again.
He rushed thru the apt, asking questions as if he'd never seen me ever before, again interrupting anytime I tried to answer. And it was SO important to see if I was compliant, yet no UA? Wow. Ok so we were expecting he'd schedule injection that next week. They scheduled that procedure a month away. After the head games I'd (& my husband) endured with this Dr there is no way he's going near my spine with a needle.
God heard our Prayers & lead us to another Dr. who is very nice, patient & acts like he cares about his patients. I've already had the 1st injection done in my neck & am feeling better.
