Aug 29th 2012, Our radiator fan broke, El Paso gave us a price of $219, but did not have one so we stopped in Dallas, they can get one in 24 hours, their price is $253 but will match El Paso...Later We found the same one (Borg Warner) online for $120... duh ! Then we were told 12 to 15 hours to install at $135 per hour ($1620.00 to $2025) WOW !! I am 68 and my wife is 66, we ARE NOT mechanics... We cut a 5" hole in the bottom of the fan shroud, used 2 studs, installed spacer and FAN, patched hole with diamond plate... TOTAL time 3.5 hours.. AND they are called "MECHANICS" Next we needed A plastic coolant overflow tank, ours cracked from age (VERY COMMON) Their price $24, took 5 days and was CHARGED $37.00 shipping because THEY don't stock IT. So, if YOU go there, bring your own Trojan, how will we ever thank them ???
