I received a Master of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX, where I completed my dietetic internship and conducted research studying the relationship between dietary intake, satiety mediators, and food addiction. With my background in research, I remain committed to stay current with new developments in the nutrition field. I believe there is no “one size fits all” model and strive to help clients reach their health goals through a personalized approach. With my background working in diverse environments such as outpatient clinics, dialysis centers, community clinics, and both general acute care and pediatric hospitals, I have provided individualized nutrition education and counseling to a wide range of clients including children and adults. My approach to nutrition focuses on the importance of creating lifestyle changes that foster a healthy relationship with food. Whether it is trying out new recipes or local restaurants, I live out my passion for food and nutrition in my daily life. I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends and family, exploring the city and traveling.
