I had never gotten my ducts cleaned before, so being the inquisitive and skeptical person that I am, I called several companies in my area to inundate them with questions.

My main concern was falling prey to a bait n switch tactic that you hear about all the time, so I asked each company if they did a free inspection.

And of the three that I spoke to, only air duct dallas was willing to do a service inspection visit at no charge. Basically, the guy on the phone mentioned that there would be no obligation to hire them if I wasn’t happy with the price...and that alone put me at least a bit more at ease, but of course I still had my guards up.

Fast forward to them being at our actual home, my general sense was that the technicians were transparent and open to answer any of my questions without the vague generalities so common among those who are looking to take advantage of you. So from that perspective, it was great. Of course, I wish the price was under $100 but at the end of the day, the service was thorough and it didn’t really cost me an arm and leg, so I can’t really complain. For what I paid, I think I actually got a really good deal. Adding the warranty on top of the service (which I wasn’t even aware of until after the service was completed) has me convinced to do business with these guys in the future when the time comes to get my ducts cleaned again.

Final verdict: I am a happy customer. 5 stars.
