you can send cash, but the USPS strictly does not recommend it.

1) If your letter is lost in mail, you're out of luck,

no way to get your money back. What can also

happen is that your letter is sent to someone else

by mistake, and that person decides to open it- gone.

Heres another: postal equipment destroys your

letter, a letter can jam the speed sorter.

2) or maybe the company you're sending the order to

have a bad employee and they decide to

keep the money and toss your order.

This can happen.

& thats just wrong.

AND also.... sadly, there are many people and criminals that have been stealing mail from neighbor's boxes and/or just random mail boxes around the world.

3) Heres what you do, Either send checks (which can be canceled) OR go to your post office and ask

for a money order. Money orders from your local

post office are only $1.20 each, you just ask for the

amount you need, for example: $20 money order

would cost you $21.20 . The money order is two

parts, one copy for the merchant, and one copy for

you- the receipt. If your letter gets lost/stolen in the

mail, you can get your money back by having the

post office trace your money order, because you have

the receipt.

Common sence people.... we don't live in Mayberry

Dallas postal service

I moved into my house about almost 5 months ago, I had my mail transferred to my new address . 2weeks ago I stopped getting mail all together not even junk mail. I called and talked to the supervisor she told me the person that lived here before had the same last name which was not true because I got there mail the 1st week . She told me it would be fixed today . I called her this morning she said someone else was working on it and they would call me back today still nothing from them. Do they get paid to screw up cause this is a big one all my bills and personal info is going to someone else's house along with all my magazines . DO YOUR JOB and don't tell lies to try to fix it.

Customer Service IS NOT WHAT I...

Customer Service IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE !!! Just ask me !!!! I left a Birthday card in my Grandsons mailbox along with 3 or 4 other cards and left a note for the mailman - we have done this for years with no problem what - so - ever ..so thought nothing of it - The Post man left all the Birthday cards but mine . I immediately called the PO in Dallas , the SAMEDAY it happened - Knowing I would be able to recover the card - which included money and valuables that cannot be replaced !!!!! The lady I spoke with seemed very helpful although did not FOLLOW UP with me - I have called back 3-4 different times and have been told abruptly by the POSTMASTER I wasn't getting my card back !!!

(In the past I have dealt with other Post Offices that have recovered money for me - as the mail sits in the PO for at lease 2-3 days before being touched )

I did what I was suppose to do - Reported on THE SAMEDAY and noone bothered to even get back with me - Even spoke to the same lady I was dealing with originally - gave her my phone number and accepted her apology - AND STILL NOTHING !!!

I DO ACCEPT my part of the responsibility - I have always done this and never had a problem with doing this over the years - so thought nothing of it now !!!! I will never do it again -

HOWEVER , RESULT is I had to file a complaint with USPS - AND USPS confirmed there was no reason they couldn't have found that card (being that I called the same day) and, they should have followed up with me - Now everyone at Dallas PO is telling me to forget about it - CAN'T DO - I HAD VALUABLES IN THAT CARD
