Hiram Bookstore has reopened under new management. The new owners, author Bryan Powell and his wife, Patty bought Paulding County's only bookstore. We invite to visit our store at 5077 Jimmy Lee Highway, STE 109, Hiram GA. We are two doors down from Cheeseburger Bobbys and are open from 11 AM to 8 PM. We have over 17,000 books to pick from. Complaining about the lack of modernization at the Dallas New Era is like compaining about the lack of vegetarian entrees at Fogo de Chão! This family-owned newspaper has been serving this community for more than a hundred years! The New Era is a rare local treasure in an age where most local newspapers have been long-ago absorbed by bland conglomerates.

I find all the events happening in Paulding County in this one 25 cent paper! It is easy and inexpensive to advertise in, as well as to publish news about your own family and friends. I read it cover to cover every week. I find it better than the other non-resident paper that is thrown up on our step for free. Worth the money paid!
