I ordered the vegetables and chicken takeout. When I opened the bag, it smelled like old, dirty, grease from a deep fryer. The paper bag that the entree was in, was soaked with grease. There was no flavor. It left my lips and mouth greasy. Nothing should have been deep fried, so I'm curious why that was the odor and taste. Not edible. I will never go back.

This place is "almost' one of those hole-in-the-wall places that for some reason amazes you. I say almost, not because it doesn't amaze, but because it's simply a little larger than those kinds of places. The food is amazing! I've been going here now for over 4 years and have never had a dish that wasn't delicious.

I've eaten over 10 different menu items, maybe more. They have a lunch menu and a dinner menu. You can only get the lunch menu until 4pm. But you can order anything off the dinner menu at any time.

The restaurant is a family owned business, but not all the employees are family members. They are very friendly and will explain anything on the menu showing an exceptional knowledge of the food and the recipes.

Some items do contain MSG, for those that need to know, but all the items can be made without it if requested. The menus do not say which items contain MSG however, so you'll need to ask.

Every experience eating in the restaurant has been great, except for once (which prompted this review.) That however, was the fault of the customer that just wasn't very intelligent. She apparently order fried shrimp and complained that it wasn't breaded like fried shrimp was supposed to be and proceeded to cuss and use foul language and threaten to never come there again and blog bad things about them. When I saw the fried shrimp she was referring to, I had to laugh because she must have been blind. It was breaded just as all other friend shrimp I've seen, so I think she's just someone who is angry about life in general. It got so bad that we (myself and our table) had to call the cops to come calm her down.

So if you read any bad reviews about this place, it's probably this blind lady who doesn't know what Chinese food is supposed to look like or taste like. This is restaurant has deserved all five-stars I've given it and I will continue to go here.

By the way, the prices are great as well. Lunch for around $5 or $6 and dinner under $10.

Great Chinese food with a great price! Owners are friendly and the place is always busy. Generous with portions and food tastes very authentic. Try the Mu Shu Chicken!

I tried this place because I was tired of high-priced fancy-front Chinese restaurants, and sure glad that I did! The food is always fresh, and abound with flavor. The variety and authenticity of items will make your taste buds crave for more.



This place may not be a big chain, but has all the charm, better quality, and more... and, for those who are price conscious - you can get a take out dinner with 4 spring rolls for under twelve bucks out-the-door (more than enought for two).



This place is also popular at end of week and weekend evenings for take out - so call in (or get there for) your order early. I bet my chopstix that you will put this place on your favorite list as well...!
