I had a leak in my roof after a heavy rain. I could not find anyone in my area to do the repair, so I called Raines Roofing to try to get an estimate. Since I live 30 min drive outside of Cumberland, MD, I was told that they would have to send a crew of two, I would have to pay travel time and time worked for both men, so it would be at least $500 to just have them come and examine my roof. That price would not even include the actual repair! Other roofing companies were upfront and honest and told me they did not want to travel so far for this job. Instead of doing that, Raines tried to rip me off. I eventually had the work done locally for less than $100. Buyer beware when dealing with Raines!
