Friends recommended the Backstage, so we gave it a try. Very low key freestanding building with classic neon sign. Very warm and clubby inside; dark wood, fire pit, long bar. Both the staff and crowd were great. We made several friends that night. The food was better than any bar food I've ever tasted. Karaoke was really fun. We didn't sing, but really enjoyed the singers. The whole experience was very relaxing and low-key, but that's the point of the place. Good place to kick back and hang with friends. Cheap, potent drinks.
