Towed my car to this business on Nov. 12. I was promised a "hard appointment" on Tuesday, Nov. 16. At 4 pm on Tuesday, I called and was told I needed a hard-to-find part, but the owner's wife was looking. No calls Wednesday Thursday I called and was told the owner would call me right back. Two hours later my parents check-in with them. They were told the part was hard to find and my parents (not me) were informed that the owner was going on vacation. I called at 4 and the owner told me the part was hard to find. I googled the item, and told him that Auto Zone, Amazon, O'Reilly's, etc.. had it. . He then got angry and told me I could get my car." I told him I just wanted my car fixed. At 4:30 he called to tell me that the part was in, but he would not be back until the 29. On the 29th, I called at 10. The owner told me that if people would stop interrupting him he would get it done. On Tuesday, I received notice my car was done: cost 425. Three hours later, I received another call telling me the cost was 825. This company had my car for 28 days, did not tell me that they were going on vacation, lied to me about a part that was available, was rude to me, only called me when they wanted money, and didn't even take off any labor charges for all that they put me through! I was forced to rent a car. The honest thing would have been to tell me upfront that he was going away on vacation, call me with updates, admit that he didn't have time to fix my car, and give me a discount for making me wait 28 days. My car needed the part that holds the fuel filter in. I was not getting a new engine or a transmission! As a single mother of three and an ordained minister. I don't have a lot of money or time. This business lied to me, held vital information from me, didn't make any attempt to right their wrongs, was downright rude, and cost me 1650 ( car rental and long-awaited repair) Michael needs to learn some serious customer service skills and take a class on company ethics!!
