#Good Facility

I had to give a star because I couldn't write this without doing so. This place is the worst. When my grandson was 2 1/2 he had to have glasses and this was the only place we found to take medical card at the time. They broke within a month and went to replace the frame. She said she had to order it and she'd call when it came in. After two weeks I called and she said they wasn't in yet. Another week passed and still no frames. The next week I decided to go by the office only to find out they had that dang frame for three weeks. Needless to say I blew a fit. How horrible to make a half blind two and a half year old child do without his glasses. I dealt with this till I found him another doctor then I found out he has a really bad lazy eye. This one didn't try to correct the eye so I found another doctor in Lafayette. By that time it was a few years later and this doctor tried correcting his lazy eye which got so much worse by that time. It was making the sight in his good eye worse so he stopped and said to just let him be a little boy and concentrate on keeping his good eye good. The point of all this is he said it needed to be done when his eyes were first checked but by that time some three years later it was too late to correct. Now he is blind in one eye and only has to wear one contact. I can only thank Jesus that he has managed well over the years as he adapted to what he has.
I write this because if any eye doctor tells you your child, grandchild, etc. has a lazy eye and doesn't try to correct it then, find one that will.

THE ONLY REASON WHY I WENT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE WAS BECAUSE THEY TOOK THE MEDICAL CARD. WHEN I WENT I NOTICED THAT ALL THEIR KIDS FRAMES WAS 100.00 DOLLARS AND UP. WHICH WAS HIGH A$$ HELL! WHEN THEY HAVE FRAMES AT WALMART STARTING AT $$10.00 SO I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD GET THE PURPLE FRAMES ON THE MEDICAL CARD. AND I ASKED FOR MY DAUGHTER'S PRECRIPTION FOR A MORE AFFORDABLE PAIR WHICH WAS AT WALMART. HE SUCKERED ME INTO BUY A PAIR FOR $148.00. THEY CAME IN ABOUT A WEEK LATER. AFTER MY DAUGHTERS FIRST WEEK AT SCHOOL SHE LOST BOTH PAIR!!! OMG I KNOW!! SO I CALLED AND ASKED ONCE AGAIN FOR HER PERCRIPTION AND SHE HAD THE BIGGESTED PROBLEM GIVING IT TO ME!! FIRST SHE TOLD ME COME BY IN A WEEK AND AFTER ARGUING WITH HER FOR 10 MINUTES I FOUND OUT THAT SHE WAS LYING AND THAT DR. WISE WAS IN FACT THERE AND HE SAID TO COME BY TOMORROW AND PICK IT UP!!
