Don't rent from this place! He rented out an old boat with problems and claimed it ran a lot better than it looks. Because we had already paid at the storefront (different location than the dock) we took the boat. That was a BIG Mistake! He charged me for the previous damages claiming I did it. The charge was disputed but because he gave erroneous "fixing" costs of $170-I lost out on my whole deposit. Essentially, it cost about $500 for me to rent an old boat from the '80s with problems for 4 hours.

We stored our boat over the winter. When we went to pick it up there was a large dent in the back half of the pontoon. The owner agreed to repair, kept our boat for 6 more weeks ( 1/3rd of the boating season) then called to say he changed his mind and would not fix because the dealer kept shipping him the wrong parts. No negotiating, no apologies, just come get your boat I am done with you. Needless to say I would not recommend storing anything at The Ski Hut if you value your boat in the least bit. Horrible customer service!
