Owner Shawn Yoakam opened Southern Flooring in 2001 with the goal of providing the greater Tallahassee area with a trustworthy flooring resource- a place where customers can feel comfortable with their buying decisions. Since that time, Southern Flooring has grown from a three person company to a multi-faceted business with two locations due to loyal customers, Shawnâ??s hard work and our dedicated staff. In 2006, Southern Flooring began a partnership with Mohawk to become an exclusive Mohawk Floorscapes Dealer, allowing us to offer an even greater array of products at competitive prices.
