This is our favorite place to go. A neighbor told us about this salon and we had to check it out. The shop is clean and the service is great. You get a great haircut for an even better price. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for 3 years and couldn't be more satisfied. It's nice to see they hold on to their stylists for long periods of time, you don't always see that at other salons. The girls always remember what's going on in my life and take interest. Thank you Family Cuts and more for keeping me beautiful at an affordable price. You have a customer for life! Also, as a woman of color, I'm very surprised to see someone left a review saying they're racist... I've never been treated any differently than any other customer, nothing but kindness and respect!

Would have given zero stars if it was possible. Very rude and racist staff. I had a 4pm haircut appointment for my daughter and when I stepped in to the salon the receptionist was on the phone. I stood there for a couple of mins and she didn't bother to make any eye contact. So I went ahead and took my seat in the waiting area. She finished the call and directly went to cleaning up the area another stylist I presume the owner of the place had just then finished a haircut. Even that lady who came to the cash counter to tally the sales of the day didn't bother to check me in. I had to step in and let the receptionist who was sauntering around the reception area to let them know that I have a 4 pm appointment and it's already 4.15. she asked me to wait as the 2 hair stylists were busy. In the 5 to 10 mins that I waited a white male came in and the receptionist came from 2 stalls behind and checked him in immediately. Even when my daughter was getting a haircut the receptionist was prompt in checking in a couple of white families even though she was busy in cleaning up the place and stuff. My stylist was great though..she spoke well with me and my daughter. I am not recommending this place to anyone who's not comfortable with racism.

I had been going to Family Cuts & More for a few years & only had 1 complaint at the time, the stylists spend more time talking to each other than to their clients!!! The last straw was when I went in for a cut & color, I had been paying roughly $50.00 she had told me & another customer that there would be a price hike...OK....this time when I paid I almost fell over I went from $50 to $80!!! My hair didn't get longer or thicker it's actually getting thinner!! I haven't been back since. I don't mind paying for a service or even a price increase but a 60% increase is hard to swallow..

Fantastic hair styles for my wedding! I went to Family cuts and had 9 people for my wedding party & the ladies did a great job on everyone! I was so pleased with our up dos and the pricing. I would recommend to everyone!

My whole family goes here. Even gave my grandson his first hair cut! Have been going since they opened. Always been 100 percent satisfied . Everyone there are great.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! got a color and cut, my color was exactly what I wanted they not only covered all my grey but also blended my color to be all the same Haircut great for the price, you cant beat this! I will be back

Just remember...you get what you pay for. I don't believe salons need to charge $100+ for services but I got exactly what I paid for today. Very disappointed and even more disappointed with the rudeness of management when I called back explaining that I still had a head full of grey hair.

Cheap but they are never on time Had an appointment but it does not matter. Karen just keeps taking walk ins. Not even an I'm sorry for the wait. Going back to Sahaira you get what you pay for!!

I was referred to Family Cuts from a few people. Their service and quility are outstanding, pricing well below average yet they deliver excellent end results! Best haircut I have found in Pittsburgh. The staff is very friendly and its a very clean atmosphere. Once you go there you will not want to go anywhere else.

Had always been pleased until today. Went for men's hair cut @ 5:30pm. No one in chairs , 3 stylists , got turned away as they were waiting for an apparent late appt. next customer turned away for men's cut also. I. Then called and got a young lady on phone who was very rude and did not want to hear me out. So my friends $30 loss to them turning two cuts away that would have taken 10 minutes and two non returning customers thanks to some young mouth who knows nothing about customer service. Oh and by the way she specifically stated they wanted to go home too ! Wow !

Never ever go there..I asked for a "body wave/to a slight curl" and wound up with a poodle perm. I am embarrassed to be in public with this and will have to cover it with scarves all summer and they will not credit my charge account claiming that they did the "work" ..so what if it is not what I requested. They told me the tight poodle curls that stand straight up on my head is a "body wave". STAY AWAY!

I am extremely pleased with the service here. They are very friendly, do great work, and have great prices! I will definitely return.

I discovered this place when I became disgusted w/Super Cuts just down the street from here. WHAT A FIND!!! I love this place....small, family owned....Karen and her daughters, Tara and Joann are great as well as the other stylists. The only problem is that they are becoming so popular, it's harder to get an appointment, but still well worth it. Keep up the good work!

My family and I have been going to Family Cuts since they opened. Their service, quality and value are outstanding. We have always had a very good cut.
