My grandma just passed away there on Sunday. This place is horrible. Anytime she went to the ER, they would pack ALL her stuff up and rent out her room. When she came back they would only bring back a few things. She died in a hospital gown because they hadn’t brought any of her clothes back. One day my mother went to visit her and she was wearing a Halloween costume and the 2 items in her closet weren’t her clothes. They were too big for her. The only thing that fit was the costume. The newest owner got in my mom’s face over food. She’s so rude. The staff all play dumb. Like they don’t know what you’re talking about. When you’re old, you take comfort in the things you own. What happens when you’re stuff is stripped away from you? My grandma would go to the ER where she was later admitted into for weeks. She was practically on her death bed. We didn’t know. Covina rehab never called us. We were dealing with a health scare from my mom, so no one had been over there in a couple of weeks. We would buy my grandma Christmas presents and the staff would steal them. My grandma would call us crying and upset but no. No one knew anything. Don’t take a loved one there!!!! That place is scandalous and should be taken to court with the way they treat their patients!!!! My parents are making arrangements to pick her stuff up. They said that all he stuff would be sitting outside. Like yesterday’s trash. What a wat to treat someone’s things. Bet you that we won’t get most of her stuff back!! Please listen to my words. This is t grief talking. This is built up anger for a loved one!!!
