We wanted to upgrade our 12 year old TV to a new smart TV with the ability to get Netflix and Amazon Prime. The old TV was in a cabinet and difficult to access and remove. Newport TV carefully removed the old TV, installed a new Samsung TV, and spent extra time with us to set up a Netflix account and assure that we were comfortable working the new system. The prices were all reasonable and the work was done 3 days ahead of when originally scheduled. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

I bought a Samsung TV over 4 years ago from Best Buy with the extended warranty, A couple months ago it stated to make a clicking noise and would take a really long time to turn on. Of course it happened after my Warranty expire. I took it to Newport TV and they called me back an hour after and told me it would be done in few hours with reasonable estimate , 2 hours later, I picked it up, paid exactly what they quote, it works great. They were extremely friendly and very helpful. I will definitely tell everyone about them!

This is the first time I have been to this establishment, it was for repairs to a Yamaha Receiver. The service was very courteous, prompt and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back with future repairs. I recommend this business for your electronic repair needs.

The only place I will call for TV or Audio Video Equipments repair. Good, honest people, very friendly and profressional. They did great work at an affordable price on my 60" Samsung TV and Yamaha audio. Highly Recommended

Bill repaired my DVD/VCR Combo promptly Took it late in the afternoon 6/6/2013, he called me with the diagnosis and it was ready by10:am next day and it in excellent working condition. He even gave us back the part that was not working. The repair cost was very very resonable. Bill is very honest and pleasant.

I don't even remember how many music systems, TV's CRT& Flats I've had them repair for me. i've been their neighbor longer than they have been there. They always explain everything and when possible advise me when an item is not worth repairing (before they take a deposit). They have gone beyond several times when i needed a box for a TV I was moving and changed a battery in my tablet. Newport TV VCR Repair is my default repair place.

I find the guy with the "red blinking light" and the one star review to be highly suspect. 20/20 or some "investigative" TV show aired awhile back catching evil TV repair guys in the act of defrauding stupid people that don't know how to use a remote. Anyway, Bill is very professional. He calls back when he says he will. He charges $10 to look at your gear and then lets you know what he can or can't do and how much it will cost. He did a great job repairing an H/K receiver of mine and my experience was great. He certainly spent more than an hour tracking down and fixing the problem on my receiver yet he charged me the 50 bucks he estimated the fix to be. Honest and professional and good work.

Bill repaired 2 CD players for us. Then a few days later, one of the machines was still not working and Bill honored his service warranty and repaired it again. The second repair worked and the machines have been working fine since.

My LCD TV just went out I called the place I bought it from did not get any help here I go and called Newport tv repair from an ad at yelp, Newport TV answered and sent a tech at the house in 2 hours the minute he checked it he knew the problem took it to his shop gave me a receipt and for some reason I trusted him taking it to his shop and promised to bring it back in 2 days..wow what a service he brought it back in time and it works like new. i trusted my feeling and this guy is for real. I would recommend them to all my friends.Thank you, I keep the good work and I am sure people appreciate service like that..

I would highly recommend this company for anyone who needs service for their TV. They picked up my TV yesterday and I had it back today. Overall, great service and friendly people.

I took my Harmon Kardon AVR510 receiver for repair as I found this business was listed with Harmon Kardon as an authorizes repair facility. Also, the storefront suggest they are an authorized repair facility for numerous manufacturers. Bill, the owner, was able to find the problem within a few hours and called to let me know what the cost would be and the amount of time it would take to fix the issue, before making any repairs. When the repairs were complete Bill called and let me know (about a week total and within the time frame quoted) and Bill also tested the receiver in front of me to show me that it was functioning properly. I would recommend anyone this company to anyone who needs any type of home audio/video repair.

I called Newport TV repair and they told me they could show up that day. The next day was more convenient for me so Bill showed up right on time. He came over and diagnosed the problem immediately, wrote up all the paperwork for my claim and everything worked out great.

These guy were great. Diagnosed the problem with a picture I emailed them. They came over, grabbed the TV, came back the next day with the TV working perfectly. They charged the quote that had given over the phone. They were fast and easy and I didn't feel ripped. In fact they saved me from having to buy another

Brought my 3 year old Samsung TV here after the picture went green on me. Called them and they told me to come in same day. Within 10 minutes they told me TV can be fixed. TV was ready early next day and cost me $145
