Was disappointed withe Pete's Chicken-n-more customer service. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and received raw chicken with wheat buns that were extremely soggy as well as the fries being cold. I called to speak with David the manager who apologized for the order and would credit us as long as we arrived within the 30 days that we originally placed the order. That day I was in such a rush we didn't have time to go back so just missed out on our meal. Within in 30 days we did return for the order and was soo disappointed on how we were treated. They explained that my "husband" had picked up the order and that I was not able to pick it up. I explained "I'm so sorry that must be another order because as you can see (pointed to the woman next to me in my car) I am not married." The gesture obviously stated that nor would I have a boyfriend. Very abrisavely the gentelmen stated "well your husband came to pick it up with a receipt so we can't give you the order." We went back and forth how there was no receipt in my bag as I had explained to David originally and per the directions I was only to come in within the 30 days and David's name. He stated he would have my name entered in the recovery log. I aksed them to provide the receipt because I was in absolute shock that someone with my order, same time frame and my name would have the order.At this time they passed me to another manager over an employees personal cell phone that the receipts were with him. I stated that I could drive to the location and he stated that he was at home. For tax purposes is this even legal to have documentation at home? All in all it was not about the order at this point. They honestly could have kept the dam order because it became about the lies that were unravelling. The conversation became very derragatory on their end and absolutely escalated the tone I had with him. Never had I experienced such discrimination. Shortly after I went to pick up an order from KFC and thought to myself "what a difference in customer service."
