Corpus Christi Dog Track s live greyhound racing is one of Texas' premiere activities. Racing performances are nightly at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays with matinees on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. The gates open one hour before the first posted race. A full card simulcasts of greyhounds and thoroughbreds begin daily at 11 a.m. Corpus Christi presents 13 races at every performance. Extra matinees are added on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weekends. Corpus Christi Dog Track includes a dining room, fully enclosed and air-conditioned grandstand overlooking the track and an air-conditioned simulcast floor in the grandstand.
