Sims Elementary School, established in 1988, serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school is a part of Rockdale County Public Schools. Its facilities include an outdoor pavilion, gymnasium, playground, music room, audiovisual newsroom, cafeteria and computer labs. Sims Elementary School has a guidance department that provides individual and group counseling.
