A really bad experience! Don't use Jensen! Our move was a nightmare ! We had Jensen do the packing too. The packers ran out of packing materials for 2 antique mirrors and a Waterford chandelier. The packers promised that the packing would be completed on moving day.This never happened. I received my chandelier in an open box that covered 1/4 of the chandelier with no packing protection at all. The 2 antique mirrors got placed with items that were being salvaged and got thrown out! When I called Jensen, the manager, Megan Bowman said I could file a claim but it would be denied! She said the movers were given the mirrors by my family member who told them to throw out the mirrors! This is ludicrous at best. Don't use Jensen Movers if you value your family heirlooms. They are unprofessional and liars.

Used Jensen a few months ago and we haven't had any damages. We were really worried about our goods since we are antique collectors. The office was very understanding of that and did whatever they could to make sure everything arrived at our destination scratch-free. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about our concerns and went beyond our expectations. We would recommend Jensen to anyone.

Do not use this company if you value your furniture, money and sanity. Where do I start? Our estimate came in at around $2100. Our final bill was close to $3,000! They demanded that I leave all my valuables anatteded in order to go to my bank and get a bank check, because they didn't want a personal check. They wouldn't unload my furniture without it. The woman who works in their office is, in my opinion, the rudest person i have EVER spoken to on the phone. She threatened to sue me if I gave them a bad review. However, because of free speech laws, you can't be sued for expressing an opinion, which is what i'm doing. The men were tired, slow and not careful. They dragged my couch over the newly refinished hardwood floor in our family room, creating a 10" scratch, then tried to fix it with a stain pen. It looks horrible. They put a scratch in an antique table that had been in my family for over 260 years. They stacked boxes clearly marked "Fragile" six boxes deep, so that the things on top were crushed. They destroyed my large plant. They damaged my antique clock. I documented everything with my camera. Thank goodness I had my son and one of his friends move my really good china! I don't know who had a good experience with this company, but it must have been some of their friends or family. Today I have to deal with their claims dept., and i don't know what horrors I will experience there. If you were my best friend, I would say: "Find someone else!" If I had known then what I do now, I would not have hired them.

Had a very satisfyint experience. I found them to be helpful and the men were knowledgeable. Just as they had promised--truly a stress free move.

Moved with Jensen last week and had a very good experience. Men were professional and worked hard. Used them because several co-workers had recommended them. Office was easy to deal with.

Do NOT use this company. Our move would have gone great if not for the questionable business tactics of this company. They come to our house and looked through all our rooms and quoted us a price to move. I understand this is an estimate, but it should be in the ballpark of what the work will cost. We received three estimates from various companies and they were in the middle. After carting our items away in the truck we received a call the morning they were to deliver our stuff to our new house that we would need to pay an additional $1000 over the $1500 estimate in order for them to complete the move. And were advised by the less then customer friendly office manager that if we did not have the money they would not deliver our items. It felt like we were in a shake down. This lady was complete rude and advise us at this point the estimate was completely invalid and meant nothing. It was a shame as the movers did an excellent job. However, unless you like being held up at the end of the move I would question ever using this company.

Just moved with them. Everything went well. No damage. Men were knowledeable and courteous. I would defintley recommend them to anyone needing to make a move.

This is the third move I am doing with Jensen Movers. Each time, they have been courteous and professional. I normally dont write reviews but I misplaced their number and as I was looking up the phone number, I stumbled across a negative review--which blew my mind. My experiences wth them have been excellent.



I am now planning to move my 4 bedroom home with them. In the last year, I moved my parents with them and my business. I actually got their name from seeing them move my neighbor in and that was quite a process. She had three trucks! She was very pleased and still highly recommends them.



My parents move although small went off without a hitch.the most important things that my mom was worried about was her antique clock and piano. The movers wrapped the piano and moved it effortlessly. The clock, they put in a box. No dmamage!! The men were professional and extremely patient with my parents, who found moving from their one and only home a very traumatic experience. I paid to have packing and unpacking done. Nothing was broken. My parents furniture was well cared for. They even took away all the boxes. I considered their fees extremely reasonable for everything they did.



In regards to my business-- it was a breeze. And...a relief. My employees did not get everything ready in time and Jensen came in a day early and got everything packed and ready to go. What a life saver.



And now, I am moving my home. I am using them again! I call and the office is very pleasant. They have been around and know what they are doing. I am going to need to move to a townhouse while my home is being built and will have them store my stuff.



I feel very confident using them and recomendding them.



Perhaps the previous reviewer had a bad moment. But I can tell you this..I have been in business a long time and its my guess that there is a lot more to that story than that person tells.

I moved 8/1/2008 and used Jensen because I got a timely mailer from them. They arrived at 10:30am (very late) and the guys were exhausted. They told me they were on the job till 3am the previous morning. They were slow and did a poor job. My brother and I ended up bringing almost everything outside for them to load into the truck. At 5pm they said they were done and I had to deal with a berligerent dispatcher to get them to finish the last trip. They finished by 6:30pm. I called in my friends and we worked until 4am and then got up at 7am and worked till Noon the next day to finish the move. You have no choice when you are selling your house and you have closing at Noon the next day.



This is a grossly unprofessional company that I will never ever do business with.
