This store is friendly and does service work In House. Great selection of Machines and fabrics.

I bought a Janome 9850 from them and I love it. They listened to my needs and helped me select the best machine for me. I felt no pressure to buy anything. The machine comes with 2 free lessons. One for embroidery and one for sewing. I just had my sewing lesson with Janice and it was fantastic. She is so knowledgeable and patient and answered all of my questions. I have my embroidery session with her next week and I am really looking forward to it. She is an excellent teacher. The entire staff is helpful whether I'm calling on the phone or in the store. I've never experienced such customer service.

SVW is my go-to shop for local brand-name quilting fabric. The staff is knowledgeable and always offering to help me buy another sewing machine, even though I already have 17. 😂 They have a great machine service department, long-arm machines, machine supplies and vacuums. Best selection in Moda and Kona Solids. So, it’s one-stop shopping for us that are serious about sewing.

Janice helped me with buying my first NEW sewing machine and she was very informative with the machine and overall knowledge of products and fabrics. Caroline has also been a big assistance with helping on fabrics and how the machinery works…can’t wait to use the long arm for some of my upcoming quilting projects! They are both always eager to help, very pleasant and I look forward to future trips there.

I went to this place two times before I purchased my very first sewing Machine! Janice helped me both times with so much patience! I learned a lot from her. While I was there, customers comes in all the time. They have a wide selection of sewing machines, accessories and most things you will need. I would suggest that to do some homework before you come in to buy, will save a lot of energy and waiting time because they can get pretty busy !

Love this store. I just traded an old singer machine to upgrade to a new Janome skyline. I received a fair price for trade and an excellent price for the new machine. Debby was a great at demonstrating all the machines was interested in looking at.

This is a first class operation. I recently purchase a Janome sewing machine and not only am I impressed with the machine but the knowledge and service of the employees working there. I am so glad I went there first. I never even looked anyplace else.

I recently graduated from a 1956 sewing machine to a beautiful new Janome purchased at this store and am still in awe at all the incredible things it can do! I can't say enough positive things about James, the salesman and all the wonderful employees that are so helpful. They have an excellent selection of fabric and sewing needs plus all the newest and greatest things to make sewing so much fun. They teach a myriad of classes to help you discover all the wonderful things your machine will do plus making fun things for gifts, etc. Tricia, one of the instructors is so helpful and patient and she's eager to help with any problems or questions you may have! I encourage you to drop in - I promise you'll be delighted!

Just bought a new sewing machine from Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse (Elna 550). Had to replace my vintage machine that was over 25 years old. Love the new machine and highly recommend the business. Brenda was a huge help and very knowledgeable. Thank you!

Salesperson Pam was very patient in answering all my questions as well as explaining the warranty. I can't wait to get started with the classes the business offers with the purchase of a machine.

This store has it all! Beautiful fabrics, any kind of sewing machine you might want, classes for all sorts of interests and a great staff and fabulous store manager. These people know their stuff. Every time I visit I feel like I am with a group of old friends. :)

I had a great Floriani class Friday, the 28th. Kathi Quinn was an excellant teacher.
She answered all my questions and showed me easier ways to digitize my quilting designs.

I took the Floriani class today and it was AWESOME!!!!! I learned so many new things! The instructor and the employees of the store were very helpful. I can't wait to take another class!!!

I want to praise & thank James, at Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse in Conroe Tx, for showing me that the reason my Sharp vacuum was not sucktioning was because there is a separate switch to turn it on. You see my husband does the vacuuming… but one day I broke a dish & wanted to clean up the minute glass shards. But could not get the vacuum to do that. James was very patient with me and after seeing there was nothing clogging my machine, he showed me I needed to flip a switch (in a place I did not know existed) on the upright compartment, (in a somewhat hidden place) to create suction. He was quite the gentleman and refused to charge me… then helped take it to my car. James should be employee-of-the-day!! Please take your business here as they provide friendly helpful service!!

This place is awesome, great customer service, all the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable, I have purchased two Embroidery/Sewing machines from here, I don't think I would ever go any other place. They are not just interested in the sale but continue to help after the sale, and now the fabric I could spend hours here.

Love this place! I took a few classes there a few weeks ago and really enjoyed my time there. The staff was exceptionally nice and very knowledgeable and helpful! I don’t live close but I definitely will be come back to this store for my sewing needs.

I had the absolute best salesperson her name is Tricia. I told her what I wanted, she led me to the machine that would do everything I wanted and more. She is also available for questions whenever I call. She is amazing.
