You will find me traveling from West Coast (Seattle/California) to East Coast (Charlotte/Raleigh) occasionally in New Zealand, through the year to work with clients. I went from working with software to soft tissue. We all have areas in which we are passionate about. As much as I enjoyed working in the Seattle Hi-Tech software industry, I am also passionate about massage. There's nothing like hearing "Wow! that was the best massage I've ever had!" " My frozen shoulder issue is better" "I slept so much better." Working with a diverse group of individuals breeds creativity as everyone has his unique needs. Therefore I combine elements from different massage modalities like myofascial, deep tissue, jin-shin-do, lomi-lomi, plus a little hot/cold towel therapy and more. I have studied massage and other healing arts abroad in China. I studied at Brenneke School of Massage, taken herbal science at Bastyr University and also certified herbalist through Natural School of Healing. I picked the name Lion Heart Massage because, it represents two working philosophies for me. Strength is needed to work with my clientele of (pro ball athletes, bodybuilders, executives, software developers, finance moguls, weekend warriors, hardworking handyman ..etc). I use the strength of the lion to tackle the twisted stressed muscles and deep tissue needs. Compassion or heart, the flowing strokes, is needed to hold a space of non-judgment and caring for people. We all bring our lives and issues to the table (pun intended). Sometimes we just need the space and place to be validated of our worth as human beings. I hold respect and confidentiality for all my clients.
