wish i would have read the reviews before i stopped there yesterday i went in and asked if i could pay to have someone check my transmission fluids and fill them if needed i was told NO..WTH complete auto care they need to remove that from the name cause it is false advertisement i will spread the word to not stop here

DO NOT TRUST the folks at this Firestone location, even management. I purchased a full set of tires from these guys in 2010. I am adamant about taking care of my car and making it last as long as I can. So I was faithfully taking my car into this Firestone for tire rotation every 5,000 miles and for alignment check annually, having no indication from Firestone I had any problems or issues. I recently started hearing a loud roaring noise when driving so I took my car to my local mechanic. He informed me that my tires were not wearing evenly, causing cupping, which was making the loud roaring noise while driving. He indicated that typically this was caused by the vehicle being out of alignment. Only a week before that, I had my alignment checked and corrected by Firestone. So I naturally went back to Firestone to have them recheck it. They indicated it was perfect and even showed me a print out indicated green on all 4 wheels. They told me I needed new struts and that was what was causing the cupping of the tires. Since the purchase and install of new struts was an extremely expensive transaction (nearly $2,000), I naturally checked with my local mechanic to get his opinion. He indicated that he did not believe it was the struts as he did not see any indication of issues but was unable to test my alignment b/c his machine was out of order that day. My brother-in-law is also a mechanic for a large dealership, so he insisted I bring my car into him to check it. He checked the struts and agreed with my local mechanic that they were in good working condition. He checked the alignment and told me that it was WAY out of alignment and showed me the same type of print out that Firestone did, but this one was red on all three wheels and a little less on the 4th. I was shocked! He corrected the alignment for me and provided me with another print out showing the green for all 4 wheels. He wasn't sure if the tires had even been rotated since I had had them, although Firestone supposedly was doing so. Please note that this all took place within a few weeks and there is no way I had knocked my car that far out of alignment unless I had hit a dump truck. Having just found out that I had been totally deceived by Firestone just a matter of days ago, I have not had the opportunity to go back to them and have a little chat with them about this situation. But it is happening this week. My main concern was letting the public know not to take their vehicles there for ANY type of service, repair, maintenance, etc. THEY CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. And they merely are trying to up-sell you on things you do not need. I am irate that I have spent so much money at that place for the service to my tires that never took place. After I have a chat with them about my grievance, I will NEVER return to this place for anything. I will not recommend them to anyone I know and will even tell every person I know and meet going forward NOT to take their vehicle there for any purpose whatsoever. I hope others will read this and heed the warning I am writing as well as those posted here as well. I wish I had done more research before I started down this dreaded path with them. The only reason I gave them a star at all was b/c I was not able to submit the review w/o it.

HORRIBLE! Please go elsewhere. I took my car in because the air condition wasn't working and I also noticed that a smoke like substance was coming inside the car from the air vents. I then told them it was making a funny grinding noise. I ask that they PLEASE make sure to check the car to see if there could be anything else wrong other than the air condition unit. They checked my car out and told me that my air compressor had been over charged and it caused the air compressor to basically blow up. I said ok I will confront the person who charged the compressor and that will be that. I was told to come pick my car up because it was ready, I get there 30 min later and they have the hood up still looking at my car, I was told that my fluid levels were being "balanced out" to a safe level. I was very concerned so I asked if my car was safe to drive. Their response was YES, they then told me it was safe to drive and that it was just the air compressor that is not working. So I get on 85 to confront the guy who last touched my compressor, my engine seized up on the highway. Turns out Firestone drained all my coolant out and it caused my engine to overheat and it blew up. I had to replace my engine and compressor and of course when they were confronted they denied everything. They couldn't even remember why I was there, they told their boss I was there because I was hot and wanted my ac fixed which was NOT the case. We are filling a civil suit against them. PLEASE do NOT go there. They do not know what they are doing. I went there in hopes that they could find what was wrong with my car before any more damage was caused. But they don't know what they are doing and they don't care about their customers.

I went to the great Firestone complete rip off auto center at Concord Mills. I was greeted by a guy named Ch*&$ he asked what the problem was I told him that I needed to have a valve stem replaced on my truck. We walked in he asked for some information to process my request. After answering his questions I wanted to go ahead and pay that way I could go ahead and head to the mall. He replied that it would cost $19.00 to replace. I told him that I would be right back with my key when exiting the store I left and went to Discount Tire same story just like the first palce but when I asked the cost of the repairs it was a whole $2.00 yes the difference was 17 bucks. So be warned if you need service and there's any way possible find some help to push your car 2 parking lots over and save the money. Places like Firestone are the reason why America is the way it is today because of people just like this taking advantage of people knowing it is wrong to begin with. GOOD LUCK FIRESTONE on your next sucker that comes through the door hope they read this and the other reviews before letting you make money hand over fist off of them also. I would give this store a -5 stars if it were possible but at least people know where I stand with FIRESTONE either way.........

The only thing this place has going for it is convenient for moms with kids to walk across the parking lot to the mall while you wait, but you will pay the price. SHOTTY TECHS WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR. The first time that I used them for an oil change, tire rotation and balance. The next day, I began to hear an aweful scaping noise on front left wheel. My husband and I returned the car to Firestone and they told us that the ball bearings in my wheel needed replacement and that my axel was also cracked and they could do the repair for $$$ dollars. I went to Ford where I had a warranty for the repair. I gave them a second try 4 mos. later (since I bought their lifelong balance and rotation package on the first visit) and they cracked one of my alloy metal rims when pulling off one of the weights when balancing the tires. I did not notice until I got home and called the manager immediately. When I returned to show him the damage, he denied that they had done the damage and had "no idea how it could have happened." He told me that I must have hit something yet could not explain why the tire had no marks and I did not have a blow out at the time of impact. He even tried to sell me a new tire as a precaution since I was heading out on a road trip alone with my two young children (husband was out of town.) Bottom line is I trusted him, and at the time, had no knowledge of the use of weights until I got a second opinion a week later. I left Firestone that day stunned, but accepting his answer unfortunately. Lesson learned, walk around your car before you leave! Infuriating to say the least.

TRUST ME, DO NOT GO THERE! I PROMISE,YOU WILL BE SORRY!

I wish I could give a 0 star but that is not an option. This is honestly the worst auto shop I have been to in my life. Customer Service was very bad when I first arrived to have my state inspection approved there wasn't anyone in the lobby so it was annoying to have to wait for someone to come inside to check me in. I could understand this if they were busy but they were not the shop workers were all just laughing and fooling around outside. I was told it would take no more than 45 minutes. I walked over to the mall and I came back to the shop about 50 minutes later. I saw that the car was still up in the air when I got back. A service man (do not know the name because apparently no one wears name badges of any sort) he took me out to look at the car and said my car didn't pass inspection because I needed to replace 3 of my tires. He said he would take my car down and my car would pass inspection once I bought the tires. I said I needed to discuss it with my husband before I spend $500 on tires. He sighed and said fine. I went outside and called my husband and decided not to purchase the tires since I had just bought 70,000 mile tires less than 9 months ago. I went back inside and was still charged for the inspection even though the car didn't pass. I felt like I was being pressured into purchasing new tires when I didn't really need them. This morning my husband and I went to get a second opinion they told us that we didnt need new tires unless we wanted to buy new ones. I will never go here again and I feel bad for all of the women who are being told they need new tires when they really do not.
