Tried to get delivery in comstock park 131 and westriver dr area and was told they dont deliver in that area. But on the website it says 5 mile raidus um im 2 miles away ! Never again

THE absolute worst experience I have EVER had at a restaurant. I called Palermo Pizza on Alpine Ave at 5:35pm and was told they were really busy and could not deliver, that I should call back in an hour or so. I said, "can it be picked up"...."YEP, just call back".

I called back at 5:45pm and said I would like to order a 14" all meat pizza and an order of 10 wings. Was told they were out of ham, no big deal.

I was told it would be 25-30 minutes.

I show up at 6:15pm, figuring that 30 minutes would be long enough. When I walked in, there were 2 other customers waiting. After I paid, they looked inside a pizza box and said, "here is your Pizza and the wings are coming right up".

In the next 30 minutes, I listed to the worker saying she was called into work to help, complaining to other co-workers about a lady who had called and said that it was taking to long. It was great as myself and others stood there, to listen to them complaining about their customers who are spending money.

Remember what I said about ham? I then witnessed a worker who was cutting up ham for pizzas and subs, eating the ham and stuffing her face with it while she is cutting it up....Yep, the same ham they were out of.

After standing in the store for 35 minutes (1 hour and 5 minutes at this point), I then was told the wings were now ready. They went to hand me a pizza and I said, "was that the same pizza that was sitting there when I walked in?" The girl replied with, "yep, is this going to be a problem". Well let's see, I am not sure how long it had sat there prior to me walking in, but at this point, it had been sitting without any source of heat for just shy of 40 minutes.


You would think with so many other excellent options in the area for pizza, that you would step up your game being a relatively new establishment. It was the exact opposite, incompetent workers, who were clueless and had no direction on how to work under stress, other than to put the customer last.

Best pizza in whole area. Crust is wonderful and lots of toppings. Delivery gal was so pleasant and caring.

Alpine Ave. Palermo Pizza is the best I have eaten in years! Love the crust, the sauce, everything! Stromboli is awesome too!
