These folks were recommended by a friend. It's been a couple of years since they worked at my home. I had them do both build work and landscape planting and design. The build work was pretty good (sidewalk and gate) but I do have minor problems with both (crack in sidewalk & paint which will not adhere on gate). A good recommendation on their part on the location of the sidewalk (2 stars for professionalism). They outsourced the build work. The landscape work has been terrible. They planted the wrong plants for my soil type and as a result, almost half of the plantings have died in just over 2 years. One pine tree had to be moved to my back yard as it was damaged when they planted it. I was assured over and over it would be "fine". However, it never did straighten out. I worked with the owner on the project and felt very confident at the time I chose the right company. A nice guy. However, it seems no one is empowered to make decisions at this company other than the owner and prompt return calls are not in his wheelhouse. In sum, my Japanese maple is barely hanging on, I've lost half a dozen boxwoods, lost every evergreen small bush they planted, most other small plants have not made it and the tree was planted damaged and never recovered. Sorry to post this but I would never recommend these folks. My guess is they would return to my home if I called them to try to "make it right" (nice people) however I'd rather not deal with them again. They have communications issues which make it not worth the effort.

Our family has relied on Clark's for over over forty years and three generations. The family-owned business provides outstanding landscape design and terrific follow-through. A pleasure to work with.
